I stopped by a local junk store this afternoon and picked up this sign for the shop. It measures 33”.

Way awesome!!!

Today was a good day! I finished the ceiling and installed the second fan. I also hung Old Glory in time for the holiday🇺🇸

I hung another flag today. Then I pressure wash 40 12’ long sheets of tin for the walls. I might not leave the flag there.

I started the walls today.

Every sheet has at least 25 nail holes plus some other bends and dents. I use a dolly and hammer to tap them out. I don’t want the sharp edges to cut my insulation or my hands.

Love the detail Michael! Patina color is really good!

I made a little progress on the walls this weekend. I think the 68’ looks good in front of the red wall.

I finished the south end wall to the 12’ mark. Then I started across the back wall. I stopped at 30’ on the back wall until the plumbing is done and I decide which direction to go with the room and mezzanine on the northern end of the building.

Today I hung the sink in preparation to complete the plumbing. I will need to build some legs for it. Then I removed the compressor from its shipping frame, wired it and mounted it to the pallet.

Nice. Why the pallet? Just curious.
It weighs 780 lbs, if I ever decide to move it my pallet jack stands at the ready! The pallet also helps with vibration isolation. It has been and will be moved several times before this process is finished.

I installed some temporary plumbing on the compressor and turned it on for the first time. For a 5hp two stage it is pretty quiet. You could have a conversation with it running.

Today I installed the spigot on the front of the building. I got tired of waiting on the plumber, so I did that part myself. I needed to close that corner of the building up and start installing the interior metal. I made fair progress on the walls this afternoon.
