No real updates, but plans for the new shop are slowly starting to unfold. I have my tree guy coming out to quote the 12 large poplars that need to come down

You are gonna love dealing with those Poplars.
Not as bad as Locust, but you will see suckers for a long time.
 
I had about 15 red oak that got bulldozed over when the pole barn was built. It’s 3 years now and I’m still cutting logs and splitting them. Luckily there was nothing in the way so he told me, don’t cut them, I’ll knock em down.

I understand your position as a matter of fact, as I look around over the course of the last few years, there are at least six other trees over hanging the pole barn by 40 feet or so since they are very large red oak trees. If I were to take a chance, I’m knocked them down today With a chainsaw even, unless I was quite precise, you know where they would land
