@TRDdrew thanks for the help and the space to work on the girl while traveling. The girls won’t remember that part but playing with the dogs and taking us down to find some sharks teeth will be a memory they won’t forget. Thanks again for everything hopefully she’s ready for the last 8k thousand miles.
Anytime and im sure it is, safe travels. O did I mention ive spent the last 12 hours looking at 55's lol

Scored some 3M paint cabinets off marketplace for 25 bux! Other than that we have been getting my sons car ready to go, new windshield today and stripped off all the old tint

My wife and I hosted the first annual "Cruisers and Crabs" event that we put together with our local club. We had the perfect spot at our community beach right on the Chesapeake Bay. We had some scheduling conflicts with GSMTR and with it being graduation weekend but we had a decent showing and next year will be even better. Weather held out, food was awesome and couldn't ask for better company.

Well, Maryland is the crab place to go to. Back when I was riding, our motorcycle club had an annual “crab run” to Maryland for crab usually around the end of August and they were huge and remarkably tasty. That would be a nice 3 hour tour from my house

The crabs were great, my neighbor is head chef at a local crab house and he prepared everything for the event fried shrimp, rockfish bites, crab balls, hush puppies and of course the crabs. With some last min drop outs we ended up with pretty much a full bushel of crabs left over, some took some home, but I sat and picked about 5 dozen myself after the event. Gonna have crabcakes for days lol.

your more than welcome to drive down next year if your up for it

Wow…thank you for the invite… my wife and I have a friend near Annapolis… She might be up for a visit as well…

I’ll pm you for details come next spring..it’s added to my calendar to check back the end of April 2026

Nothing much this weekend. I did desticker my MAC tool box and cleaned it up. Also noticed I have some new residences at the cottage, a pair of Cardinals has made their home right outside the door and noticed Saturday to the 3 eggs have hatched. I've been doing my best not to disturb them by entering through the bay door.

The club had a tech day at a local off road shop. Was hot but a lot of folks got some stuff done. For your viewing pleasure 😅, myself sitting on the "Diff throne" the shop owners creation, inspired by the game of thrones show, completely made out of old diff parts and probably weighs somewhere in the neighborhood of 550 lbs o_O

Brutally hot and humid here but couldn't sit inside and do nothing so I built this little shelf to hold all the shop manuals and literature I've collected over the years. Even have a Toyota approved book stopper lol

Cheers

Now if it was a recliner…🤣

@TRDdrew About 3 hours north of you, this weather is oppressive. I could only stay in the pole barn the first day… it felt air conditioned between the foam insulation and the concrete slab. Then since it was 88* at midnight, it started to lose that cool refreshing feeling so yesterday and today the air in there was stagnant and suffocating. I had to finally ventilate the place an open the garage doors.

Your adjustable bookend is imaginative…. The remote on the left is my speed

It's been horrible for sure, had to make a little magnet mount for the remote, if I hadn't it for sure would have gotten broken by now lol

O boy, wish me luck

Just wait until dark and stick a cork in it. It’ll be fine 😉
buying every product that lowes has and after dark...... the war is on :ninja:

I have a similar battle with yellow jackets from time to time. Except mine are ground nests and I always find them when I’m mowing 😳

We need video or pics of this happening! Spray something really cold in there to freeze them and then drop in a garbage bag...
They got 4 cans dumped on them through out the evening and they were pissed. I went back out to the nest this morning and saw zero movement after another spray. Gonna hit it again tonight and then climb up there tomorrow to remove the nest

Use a garden rake to bat it down, then go clean up the residue.
