Thanks, wayfair was enough to get me there. Looks like Latitude Run. I've got a couple of cheap 84" that move a lot of air but probably not worth the hassle for just a few more inches. $250 is good price especially compared to Big Ass Fans/similar.
I think when she found them they were on a sale too for about $200 each. They are pretty stout with aluminum blades and a heavy duty mount. These are the charcoal gray color.

It’s a mess but my springs are wound and doors open! I’ll get my openers installed in the next day or two and start slamming it full of junk!

Just noticed those hose reels…..GREAT SPOT to mount them

I figured a hose reel and power cord toward front and near the lift would be a big help. The electric reels are 65’.

What is the yellow lift (?) looking apparatus in the back of the room?
It’s an extra tall drywall panel lift. I used it during the build to raise the osb for ceilings, hold the garage door tracks, etc. whenever I didn’t have the scissor lift. It’s a 16’ high reach. Now I’ll resell it since I’ll have no use for it.

Exactly what I did with mine. Bought one off Craigslist, used it for a couple weeks, and then resold it for the same amount. Your shop is looking amazing.

Took inspiration from @Michael B and got these Vevor wheel dolly’s and the harbor freight rack. Asked HF for 10% off so I didn’t order it on Amazon and the guy said sure.

Also put a couple cars in here. Already seems too small. Granted nothing is organized yet but I’ve got a lot more tools and a couple more cars to cram in here!

Sweet Chevelle !
Thanks. It’s a 68 Chevelle Malibu. Originally 307, powerglide, bench seat, blue interior. I tried to buy this car for about 15 years; was sitting under a tarp near a shed. Easter in 2017 or so I stopped by and he finally agreed to sell it. Swapped it over to black interior with bucket seats, console and Muncie 4 speed behind a BBC 454 that’s had a thing or two done to it: should be near 600+ hp. Also 2000 Z06 Corvette 4 wheel disc brakes and very upgraded suspension. Built it with the intention of a very good handling street car that I could AutoX but haven’t tried that yet. It does handle like it’s on rails though and according to my phone gps, 135+ mph isn’t unattainable. *Allegedly*…..
Landcruisers not included, my mantra has always been “First, it must be fast”.

Day I bought it.

First use of the wheel jacks. Worth every penny. Spun the 60 180 pretty effortlessly by myself. Big nudge to get it moving but once the casters were all the right direction it moved with ease.

so nice! thanks for sharing!

plans for the 60 project?
Getting running, driving, reliable and safe then sell it.

I started a thread on it; crank is out getting turned right now and then I’ll start putting the engine back together. It’s on the semi-back burner while I replace the head on my silver 60 and build stainless exhaust for it, but I should be done with that one in the next week. Hoping the gray one is driving in about a month or so.

I have been neglecting the last little things on the shop since I’ve been able to work in it. Last couple days I finally started running my air lines. Then today I made a cart for my jacks and jack stands out of some scrap I had. Been making dollies for everything like my blasting cabinet and parts washer so I can move things easily.

Darn good idea with the rolling cart… been welding some dollies for my heavy stuff and lately, they’re all heavy. I prefer all 4 wheels swivel, makes it easier to roll into tight spaces with easy maneuvering

I bought a couple $45 Wen brand dollies online for a couple pieces. Mostly because they had flip up casters and I couldn’t build it that cheap. But, weeks on one side are fixed and the other 2 swivel. For the blasting cabinet and parts washer that’ll rarely get moved, that’s fine. But this jack cart, the cart I’m building for my stomp shear, things like that; all 4 need to swivel.

How are your airlines working out….?

After 2 years I do have a slight leak somewhere..i Ihave 8 drops and tees for each at 11 feet high. I am not anxious to get on a ladder and tweak this fittings… (old guy syndrome) some of the junk I trip over these days is annoying AF, falling off the ladder would really hurt.

The leak is certainly nothing to worry about…I keep my regulators around 120psi and it stays charged a few hours but then kicks on

Haven’t even put air to them yet. I need to finish one more drop and the thine to one hose reel.

I’m disappointed with the kit. I picked one off Amazon with the most/best reviews and the length I needed and amount of fittings I thought I needed. Had to buy 2 “T”’s and 2 pipe to tube fittings still.
My problem is, everything is pipe thread but straight cut threads, not tapered. I had to buy a bunch of extra brass fittings that were tapered to make everything work. Still probably cheaper than a rapidair kit but annoying.

Good to know, I have a blue chineesium kit waiting for installation.

I have the RapidAir kit… had to buy and extra 100’, extra tees, extra terminal ends and extra parts to connect my old hose reels. That overnight Amazon shipping was great but then every other day I was re-ordering what I did not think I needed
