Awesome photos!!

Looks like tons of fun. So bummed I'm missing this entire summer with my truck down.
What you've been doing this summer is well worth whatever you may have missed out on.

Ignition issues have Fitz sidelined for the annual Christmas 🎄 event I normally do.

Jumped in with @red66toy and @KeilOver as I played musical passenger seat.

Great time despite getting loaded up the morning of and frustration.

LS time…

Has a misfire, swaps to an LS over 8 years.

Love ya.

Seattle got a healthy dumping of snow. More so than we normally see. Made a mess of everything. Thankfully it was while most were on holiday break between Christmas and New Years.

Stopped at the picture with the Crosstrek in the guard rail because a 100 series was stuck 10 feet in front of it. Showed them how to lock the center diff and front axle. Drive out with a set of traction boards.

Two more cars drove down the hill and slid into the guard rail while I was there before I blocked off the top of the road with someone’s trash cans.

Caught back up to today.

Dropped in on this score from @aviafx

Great to meet you and these Landshark Drawers are sweet! Excited to use this stuff this summer.

@HemiAlex has a point… 🤦‍♂️.

This swap can’t take 8 years. I was all about having one of two LC up a running while I have one down. Think at the current rate I need to double down and get the 60 done. Karashi will sit and wait…

I was thinking:

Jan: pull drive train, fix rear leaf pack(sag) order parts for swap.

Feb: re-seal V8, push rods, cam. Start on LR fuel tank rehab.

March: set the drivetrain start on plumbing system.

April: exhaust / wiring

May: extra month (life delays)

June: test drives and trips.

July: more trips

Hope to carefully manage the time on this project to make it happen by summer time.

Time to start but parts.

1. Fix 2F.

2. Buy parts for LS swap.

3. Drive the truck the whole time.

4. Start the swap when you’ve got all the parts.

5. Strike a pose.

Parts are in order for the ignition. Not going to add pulling the head and getting it re-built.

All the 60 2F parts will transfer over to the 40.

I’ll bring you beer at SAS if we get into the. “ I told him so territory” 😁🙏

I’ll see you in a rental 4runner beer delivery vehicle. :)

Darryl Vaughn (@The Machinist )? He enjoyed the 4Runner for a few years :)

Nah, think I would fly in and jump in with someone else. The nuclear option would be co-pilot / second driver for team Boston @EasternYeti

I’m sure that would get me motivated to finish the swap.
