Delancy, polish or paint on the t-case, and did you polish the Alcoas before mounting the KM2s? Either way looking good. Not much room in the garage though! Never answered on A, B and C pillars on 1 tearing apart!:). Oh and pics of Mexico?

Thanks Bob.

It's a clear coat on the blasted, the polished case.

Those wheels are Alcoa's....didn't think to polish...

Bob,
I chit you not...

The last several months have been total chaos, some of the most time consuming and stressful I can recall.

I'm running behind on everything, man, and I'm sorry to everyone.

Today marks the last day that I said I was further investing time into what has consumed all of mine, leaving the other entity until next Friday to produce their documented intentions, so I'm almost through this little bad patch and can return to my other obligations.

All but about three of the Mexico pics exceed this forums rating....

One that doesn't.

Rocked the RTP!

is it in yet???

Plan's is stab it in today, to assess need for 60 cross.
Are you staying with stock width 55/axles and the 60 T/case?
If so how are you going to address the offset for the drive shaft angle?

Chris,

Getting exciting now. You plan on bringing it home, after the motor's running.

Yes, before embarking on any major body work plans.

Need to drive for awhile to restore ambitions.....

is it in yet???

Waiting....

Hardware for rear leafs was too rusted to reuse, so merely positioning it in the bay to check the motor mounts and crossmember.

Yes and I don't believe it'll be an issue.

Is it in? Did you plug it in yet? Hurry up, dammit, cause there's no power at the switch.....(she said)

Hahahaha.

I'm faced with the same dilemma and without offsetting the transfer case 2” it’s impossible to get the third member flanges perpendicular and inline with the transfer case flanges.

This is a short video showing my concern.

I might be over thinking it, here’s to hoping for the best!

Think we've the option to alter TC if/when the PS frame mount is changed for the 3FE motor mount, usibg 3FE to utilize the 3FE AC & Alternator mounts.

May have to push the entire engine back, a bit, to clear the fan clutch and fan. Not sure of, but may be moving things around, anyway.

Regardless, if the TC output isn't parallel to the diff output, can shim the rear to point at the TC and use a double cardan joint at the TC.

If it's not in either plane, as long as it's off by a minimum of 2 degrees in any direction, can use a double, double cardan shaft.

Not first choice, so hoping to avoid either.

Will you please get me lots of pics of the 3FE mount and how you fit the AC compressor in there?

When I did my 3FE swap into Piggy, I opted to move the mounts on the radiator back as far as i could, effectively moving the radiator forward in the bay and giving me the opportunity to run the 3FE clutch fan.
