BUT The trans has a much deeper first gear, slightly taller overdrive, is 11% more efficient, stronger for more stage 2 madness, will keep the driveshafts the same and be very PNP with a very versatile controller that will hook to the factory 93/4 ecu’s, the 95-97 ecu and will connect to our emu black via CAN.

Also will only require a new bellhousing to work…

Oh and you can buy remanned units from Toyota.

I feel a proper modern trans would be a game changer in these rigs, even with a stock motor. more power to the ground, super tall 1st gear, pretty much eliminating the need to re-gear the diffs. halfway pays for itself in re-gear savings.

You wheel yours... 34% deeper first gear. Should make for a substantial improvement.

Combined with 3:1's in the tcase it will be 83% lower than stock....

Lets make it better... Want to be the first to standalone and Intercool your SC? Intercooler would require some development but the ECU is nearly PNP (new IAT and knock sensors)
