1993 80 series Land Cruiser window remotorizer issues (2 Viewers)

Hi all!

My 1993 80 series Land Cruiser rear divers window won’t go up all the way. The previous remotorizer had left about 2 inches from the top of the window open.

I have bought a new one and mounted it. There are 4 bolts to mount so I can’t really adjust. It only leaves 1cm gap with the new one.

Window tracks look good. It seems to be jumping off the window and if it does stay it gets to that 1cm gap and just vibrates/jumps like it’s hit the end of the motors limit.

Is there any way to get it to work or even adjust the alinement of the glass. Not sure what’s happening so any ideas would be awesome!

Just finished the installation of a new window lift motor and regulator, left rear door, FZJ80. The entire process has been posted up in the past so just hitting a few high points FWIW

It's not super difficult and there's a lot of words that most people may not want to read (you might once you dig into this job ). Just sharing a few tips I ran across while doing this job. I'll add some photos.

Removal of the door panel is fairly straightforward, key point is to ensure all the plastic rivets are removed. Don't tug gorilla style on the door card to remove it, otherwise you may cause...
