Sounds like the new waste gate bracket did not make it in your box. It’s another stainless price and It positions the wastegate up and slightly above the airbox. Will get one out to you Monday on the fast train so you can wrap up the install.

Maybe I’ll look at producing these. @Broski any chance you’d be willing to send the over OD of the new pulley? Could probably have a proto in a week or two of this.

Typically for the fans we modify the clutches of the units we do in house. @SHELLBACK ’s stage 2 runs 180-190 on the highway and Offroad is in the 190’s
Absolutely, Love to help out the community.

It’ll be interesting to see how much the rotation of the fan changes and does it require a different belt?
No stock belts.

I have had this for 3 or 4 years now I believe it was 15% under drive pulley.

Where this pulley really shines is ambient temperatures 90* and over sitting with the AC on or slow moving on the trail.
My cooling cooling system 100% new to include modified blue hub, radiator, fan, fan shroud, foam around the shroud etc. you get the idea.
In normal conditions it would run 180-190s, extreme conditions AC off same. Extreme conditions AC on I would see as much as 218 😲 even with the 100 series auxiliary pusher fan going. I could put it neutral bump the RPM 1200 to1500 RPM and it come right down or turn the AC off.
But the whole idea of having a Land Cruiser is to be comfortable while wheeling right 🤷‍♂️
Then I heard about this under drive pulley and it has fixed the issue.

Thx Johnny. Emailed you back

Is it possible to adapt this kit to accommodate the york compressor?

We did not design around the York as it is my opinion the air coming out of the radiator needs to be able to be evacuated and the York adds a wall that is right in the way…

That being said there was a former kit on the market that designed around it. It is possible but you’re on your own for figuring that part out.

@effjayatee you are the man, thank you so much for helping us get this developed!

Man it was a pleasure being the ghenea pig and to help C&C and the community. I hope this will level the playing field for us OBD1 guys and by the way, real man die without airbags!

Now how to hide it from the wife!

The box will be big and contain too many very interesting looking pieces to hide. You better come clean asap……

This is all awesome and all, but when are we getting the trans upgrade 😬
93/4 guys have been waiting for decades for a proper solution... Freakin Ruthless haha

Hoping to share details about that soon. Planning on getting it out there this winter so everyone can have their trans upgrade by summer!

1000 blessings. and 8 gears 🙏

I feel a proper modern trans would be a game changer in these rigs, even with a stock motor. more power to the ground, super tall 1st gear, pretty much eliminating the need to re-gear the diffs. halfway pays for itself in re-gear savings.
