Couldn't find Toyota spec sheets for head bolts/washers or main bolts. @OGBeno says I never will. So I sent a new head bolt/washer to my ARP contact, hoping they might have an exact fit off-the-shelf so we don't have to mess around with Opel and Supra studs. I'm told they need more information; same deal with main studs. I do not have a disassembled engine to measure. Anyone here have the engine and the tools to do this on a 1FZ? Here's what they told me...

Do you have a fastener calc sheet for this engine? We cannot do any better than guessing without a calc sheet. The bolt you supplied will confirm the thread size/pitch, rough estimate of length and the clamp load requirement but matching a stud will require more info. This would apply to the main studs as well. I attached a calc sheet for reference.

Boldly going where @OGBeno says no man has gone before… You are way over-estimating my knowledge base. I’m sadly 1,400 miles from my cruiser, but I’m sure these other folks will have more to say. Good luck on your quest!

I merely meant from Toyota. That’s the only system I know, unfortunately.

Glad people are creating some knowledge and contributing back.
Understood.

It's getting harder and harder to contribute anything new because there's already such a huge knowledge base here. That's pretty awesome actually! But like my snowplow project, if I do come across anything new I try to put it up here so anyone looking can get some help. This forum has grown amazingly since I started reading here, and because of the OG's like Cdan and Beno, plus the contributions from the international knowledge base; it's truly amazing now. I have an old first gen Civic and there's no forum like this for those anywhere.

Stock gasket, yes sir. 1.98mm. I went to a Cometic when I did my rebuild after they shaved the deck in anticipation of installing a turbo…..
Can’t find the email but I believe the Cometic folks have the compressed thickness of the installed stock HG.

They range from .030 to .120; was just checking them out for ARP...

Read the short thread for what Cometic has in the system.

Question from ARP:

--
When people are using the 5.000" stud, how much are they having to trim off the top? Like .200"?
--

I've seen a few references on Mud to .25" -- can anyone confirm or deny?

Because I didn't sent them a main bolt, they wanna know thread size and pitch, which are not shown on this sheet. Anyone...? And are there washers used here? Thanks!
It’s the same thread size and pitch you can use the same stud you just have to trim for oil pan clearance

You mean same as head bolt?
