I will see cost/F grainger hose vs Flexzilla

It hits 100s in the barn these days. Drip a quart or more an hour. Been hydrating with water. Beer does not cut it. Made some homemade gatorade. Liquified a water melon, squeezed some limes, and celtic salt for electrolytes. Works like a charm. Alternate with water.

1 large water melon
6 medium/ large limes
1 TABLE spoon Celtic Salt

Got one hose set for a test. Interesting that they came with brass termination, not anodized! Also got quick coupler

First tractor I ever drove. IIRC I was 12 years old. Was put in the middle of a 40 acre field with a 6' disc harrow and let go. I would have guessed slightly less HP.

Edit: Bought a new Kubota MX5400 about 3 years ago but would have bought a Ford 4000 or anything in the 4XXX size but couldn't find anything that wasn't a major project at the time. I spent so many hours on those and they are much lower center of gravity than the new tractors due to their no frame design.

3000 series fits all my needs. Absolutely no leaks on this. Everything works! It has a connection for rear hydraulics too. I bought this for $3k. All new tires and seat makes it even cheaper. Tons of torque on this puppy. I usually never buy a tractor without a loader. But for what this will be used for, It is more in the way. I have other tools for bucket needs. There is so much tractor for this price. Part are available as well and not $$$ because its not a front brand like JD.

Those Ford 3000 and 4000 tractors weren't really designed for front end loaders, especially given that they are 2WD. Great buy. I would have jumped all over that deal; even with the Kubota.

Started a new thread to document the progress on the highboy, so I’m not cluttering up this one, if anyone is interested in following along.

. There is so much good used old iron out there. So much better built. 25% of current price of one implement Is what I paid for all three. Ya know its good when the plop it on the trailer. Noticeable.
