Sounds like you’re covering it. If fluid flows when you bleed the corners it might just be a faulty caliper. Not an expert on proportioning valves but if the front end is at least diving then it sounds like the valve is doing it’s job
Just remembered something: the front left caliper has a tough time bleeding, it comes out real fizzy. No leaks anywhere. I thought maybe the threads for the bleeder got tapped too far and it was sucking air in there and shooting it back out through the bleeder. But maybe it’s pulling air from a piston or somewhere. A gap not big enough to leak on its own.

If the front left brake is weaker it stands to reason that the truck would dive right under hard braking … which is exactly what happens.

Almost done with the punch list for the SAS event. T-case feels great. Put it under load on the only obstacle on my place :) that’s accessible. Front locker would not engage. Had to undo the cable and manually move it back and forth. I think I had the cable it in a bind when I remounted it after installing the trans. Both function now. Had two wheel studs fubarred by my local tire shop a few months ago. Will never let them use air tools on my truck again. Trimmed the stud on my front left wheel and cleaned the threads on both sides of the mating surfaces (all 6). Will tackle the spare tire carrier next. Last task is putting in a new (aftermarket) starter relay. Wiring is not my strength, but mulling through it. Also added a new air filter. Can’t believe the truck actually ran as dirty as my old one was. I tinker with a lot of sh**, but it’s funny how I overlook such simple maintenance. I believe this old filter is the second one I’ve put in this truck in 7 years. Also changed the oil. Again…simple stuff

It's Hard to believe how much time and stuff has happened since 2017! Frankenstein is one of the best builds I have seen, and you use it!!! I hope all is well down south Jimmy!

Thank you Tucker. Hard to believe we first met in 2016 when I was heading to the FJ Summit (with Mcguire). And that week was when the whole idea of doing the Solid Axle Summit originated. And as you said…”A lot of stuff has happened since then” :).

I thought, in your case at least, that ADD stood for “Awesome Decision Dude”

4. Replace rear FF hub gasket and possible inner seal…slinging some grease

Spent some time this evening on it. Over half way through installing my old OEM 61 radiator. Had it redone at a radiator shop. Learned after the fact Toyota red is not recommended with aluminum radiators.

Huh. That seems odd, given that it's used in engines with aluminum cylinder heads, water pump housings, thermostat housings, etc. Different alloy?

So I should clarify this point Allen…Champion states that their radiators require Glycol based coolants. If you check their web page it shows an example of a radiator run with Toyota red and it looks similar to mine. Also, during a conversation with their sales guy last year he stated they do not warranty radiators that have been running Toyota red. If you look at the chemical compound of Toyota red it has Ethylene Glycol. I’m not a chemist and not even going to decipher the difference as everything I read talks about inhibitors etc. For me the bottom line is this OEM core I have lasted 35 years and was actually still in good shape according to the radiator shop. I have 30k miles (8 years) on the Champion radiator in the picture above.
 
Ethylene Glycol is Glycol based. Almost all coolant is glycol based. Glycol does NOT affect the corrosion index of metals. Its the other stuff in Toyota red (minerals, inhibitors, ions) that may not be compatible with champion alloys or tig welding rod material.

I just run the green shait from the big box stores. No issues. Flush red out well before switching to green if you are. Otherwise they will mix and gel.

I dont think Toyota red existed when they made the 12hT

All done except the passenger rear FF axle seal/gasket. Can’t say I’ll actually get to it tho. Added a new 1 Ot ground strap from the new starter to the frame. I rebuilt all the other wires with 1 Ot years ago but apparently left the chicken sh*t factory ground strap in that location.
Really like the Dobinsons. No comparison when you look at the shackles, bushings etc compared to the OME ones I had before. Definitely sits higher as well. May add back the front mud flaps as well. Will put some miles on her, retorque the u-bolts and then trim the excess. Changing the oil and fuel filter will be last on the list and the packing the camping trailer for my 8/2 f-I g departure :).
