Spray on seam sealer on the rockers, this is how Toyota did their “chip guard”.

We didn’t strip the old sprayed on seam sealer from the wheel wells so we just put a light coat on top of it.

What product do you use and how is it applied? Some of the stock coating has been worn away on my 200 series rear wheel wells and I want to reapply something similar to stock.

Toyota used a tan seam sealer. SEM sells a tan but not in sprayable form. Toyota also painted over it which we will be doing as well.

Just out of curiosity I know you've gone over how you cleaned this rig, but have you ever used the dry ice cleaning way for anything you've ever done?

No have not tried it yet but there is a guy in town here that does it so I would imagine sooner or later we will try it. He is not mobile though so it doesn't really work for a project like this.

If you are doing it right, no expense spared, anytime you change the height at all you would change the bracket.
