Drove it to the mountain to take my daughter skiing today.

I saw one of those signs before. Problem was it was after we had traversed a narrow trail and bailed off a small drop off so there was no way to ski back. Yes I could have carried my skis and walked but for some insane reason that wasn’t considered. There were other people behind me and I didn’t want to look like the fool that……..well you get the picture. I skied down that run as slow as humanly possible with my rearmed puckered tight and scared to death. It was awful.

Picked up my 4plus carrier from having it powder coated on Thursday. Started drilling the holes in the cross member last night and drilled on hole this morning. And damn those holes are close to the factory bumperette holes. Also curious what others in the area where there OEM tire carrier was.

Mind posting a few more pics from underneath? Thanks for posting those first ones. I have been wondering how the 4+ attaches.

Started my first axle rebuild. I was shocked to find out the diff already had a Detroit style locker.

I’m planning on replacing it with an ARB.

Reused my tube bender engine stand to mount my pinion on a piece of plate metal. Thought a profile tool and a plasma torch would be quick work, but it was way more trimming to fit.

If anyone still needs pro bono hours in the PNW and have done this before, I’m buying the beers 🍺.
