I'm putting my '96 4Runner up for sale. I've had this truck for several years and I bought it as a project/creek truck to haul my kayaks on. My son was going to take it over but he joined the Navy and is headed overseas, so it's time for it to go to make room for a Cruiser.
She's an SR5, V6, 5 Speed Manual with 4WD (no lockers) and power windows and locks. All the windows and locks work fine. She's mechanically sound, rides well and the 4WD drives works flawlessly. This truck has been in the south its whole existence and has no rust. She also doesn't leak a drop of anything.
She's located in Richmond Hill, GA (near Savannah)

Up for sale is my 1995 4Runner SR5 4wd with a 3.4l, A340H and RF1A transfer case swap. The chassis has about 226k on it and the engine/trans have about 140k on them now.
Everything works as it should including AC and cruise control. Anyone who is familiar with these swaps knows that the automatic is a but more involved than a 5 speed which is why you see so few with a properly working auto.

1997 4Runner BAD FRAME for sale in Dalton, PA. It's an SR5, V6, 5 speed, 194K on the clock. Everything works as it should on the truck. No driver's seat tear. Interior is in great shape. Outside is nice also. Problem area is the frame. It is rotted at the rear control arm as usual. Also another spot on driver's side. $1000.00 OBO. I don't have the time to part it out. As the title says, I have a 1988 SR5 4runner for sale. It is in great condition with 211k miles. It is a 5 speed manual. The truck is completely stock besides the yakima roof rack with the spare tire option. This truck has been great and is extremely reliable. The truck is a California car now located in New Jersey, it is virtually rust free with a very small rust bubble starting on rear quarter panel. Selling my 2006 4Runner v8 Limited in Sonoran Gold. Currently at 143,300 miles and rising as it is my daily driver. I have owned it for a little over a year. With two kiddos and the addition of a second dog, we find our need for space to be greater, so we are moving up to an LX570.
Loaded with leather, nav, backup camera, JBL, 3rd row seats, and tow package. I have added BFG KO2s with about 7k miles on them and Discount Tire replacement certificates, all three rows WeatherTech mats, and hood protector. Comes with 2 spare hard tops, one black and functional, the other red and missing side windows.
Timing chain and transmission replaced 90k miles ago.
Has typical fender rust issues coming from the NE. RF fender is new. Was going to cut and put bushwhackers in all around but never got around to it.

About to buy my first 4Runner (first offroad vehicle, actually).
I'm looking for a Gen 4 (2003 - 2009) Sport that is near-stock, has been very well maintained, and has little or no rust. High mileage is fine, provided it has been well maintained.
I plan to do some mild upgrades (2" OME lift; AT tires) so that I can do some offroading but also use it on the road and for towing.
Please let me know if you have one you're willing to part with.
I've found one at a dealer about 500 miles away that fits the bill. It's a 2005 one-owner with 165k miles. The prior owner looks like they maintained it very well:

hi all im new to the site and needing help with my 2lte surf
when its cold and i start it it chugges and chuggs and will stall unless you rev it until it stops chuging (a quick rev to 3000rm will do it) snd then it idles but with a massive miss fire and if you stand about 20 metres from the truck you cant see it at all its all black what could be the issue ??
i have just put brand new glow plugs in and it starts easy but still a massive misfire and huge amount of smoke when its warm its fine i have put a whole bottle of morreys injector clean in but its still the same its been like this since someone played with my spill control valve they changed it like 2-3 turns with a screw driver i think and i want to know what the correct...

I purchased it out of NC back in 2013 with 143k on the clock. It has the 5th gen. supercharger and URD 7th injector which I added, the rear locking differential, and a 2" OME lift. Runs and drives great, no known mechanical issues, body and interior are in better than average condition for their age. Doesn't leak and fluids or burn any oil.
