It’s not cheap I agree, haven’t gotten to that point yet with my cruiser but not really aware of any other intercooler options for a supercharger.
Why arnt there ever front mount air to air tinercooled superchargers? I understand slight peak boost loss and some lag but with instant boost it can’t be that bad.

The engine bay is pretty full with a supercharger and to route the pipes would be hard or it might not fit?

Yeah I guess that’s true but my the time you mount the pump and run the hoses from the exchanger to the pump to the core a wire up the pump. It couldn’t be that much harder to just go air to air.

Do you have any audio with your new exhaust? Thinking of going bigger than stock and cant find any decent audio of a 1FZ.

I can get some time sure. I had to redo Mine like 3 times before I got the sound I wanted. I made it 2.5 at the y then 3 inch behind the 02 sensor closest to the motor to a flow master resonator then back to 2.5 at the very end behind the axle to a thrusher muffler

Must've missed it but where are you heating up?
My intake air temps skyrocket at wot especially at high rpm. Like if I do a 3rd gear sweep starting at 90 it is at 150 by redline and if I keep going it gets to 170 and pulls so much timing it stops accelerating
 
A dorkel along with your airbox will definitely help with IAT.
I'm pushing 12.5psi Turbo with a stainless dorkel and even during warm summer days hasn't effected my timing due to IAT yet. Maybe my front mounted intercooler helps.

It’s for sure your front mount that’s keeping the temps down. I’m sure the snorkel helps a bit but I need a real fix.
