I have actually had x2 offers here on mud during the “covid” years for $60k.

I turned those down.

I was thinking I would start at mid to high 40’s here on mud once it meets my “ready for sale” standards so substantially less than the COVID years offers with more into it and more goodies!

Cheers and thanks for your post!

I really need to prepare the 80 for sale.

Since this thing is taking up all my time now.

I am going to keep my Scheelmann seats from the 80 and the KMC wheels. That’s probably it.

Cheers

I keep trying to decide where to take the Cruiser as far as “finished” before I list it for sale.

I think this is my “to-do” list though.
-Restore headliner and pillar trim.
-Fresh paint and gaskets on all fender flares.
-New sunroof glass and related parts when the head liner is out.
-Might as well sound deaden roof too when headliner is out.
-Replace rear hatch with a better one I have here. Painted it too!
-Clean up bumpers and fresh powder coat as needed.
-New tires on either the SCS wheels or some OEM wheels.
-Install subtank and related parts I have for this Cruiser.
-Install stock front and 2nd row seats.
-Clean the paint up and wax the Cruiser.
-Might upgrade the carpet.
-Replace steering wheel with much better one.

I think that is it besides service it! Mostly I am posting this for myself and for when it is listed for sale!

Cheers

Working on a for sale thread, holy crap I put A LOT into this Cruiser!!! 😳😳😳

Cheers

Not exactly about this Cruiser but I have a 1996 LX450 with no engine.

Awhile back I picked up a lowish compression 1FZFE coil pack for it. I just ordered a H152 5spd trans for it as well. I am going to put it back on the road with the coil pack 1FZ and a 5spd manual trans!

It will probably replace this 1995 as my daily driver.

Cheers

Oh ya, we are painting a really nice rear hatch tomorrow and a complete set of fender flares. I had 6M1 mixed up for this, base/clear. Tore the rear hatch down, glass out and all that.

Polishing the turd begins now!

Cheers

Pictures make things look “wide” in my opinion, like how video off-road always looks flatter than it is. 🤷‍♂️ Not to say this wheel-tire combo isn’t “meaty” because it is but I sure have enjoyed the final stance and height here. The 80 is super stable across a wide variety of terrain, still running stock gears in the diffs, can cruise down the highway at 75-85mph, not to “big” for daily driving and climbing in/out regularly, it’s fairly well armored, didn’t carve up the wheel wells for 37+” rubber, eats up 6-8 out of 10 difficult trails in comfort and style, blah blah blah!

The original steering wheel was getting a bit crusty, mostly what bugged me was the discoloration which is from sun and age plus the smoothness of it.
