I have a 1990 hilux crew cab for sale....solid front axle from the factory! 4.3l vortec from 1995 chevy blazer with fresh 4l60e coupled to dual cases w/ marlin adapters. 4" marlin springs and 2" body lift to clear the drivetrain. Transmission coolers all plumbed. This was going to be my baby, but once again, life throws you some curveballs every so often. I have a topper for the rear of the truck, matching white in color. The front seats were replaced with cloth 4 runner seats when I got it. This truck originally was a diesel, but was replaced when it started to use more oil than diesel. it was an L engine, so it wasn't anything too powerful. Another how much is it worth thread: '85 4runner

I've been looking for a clean 1985 4runner to build up but they're hard to come by. I found a white 1985 with a tan interior but it has the following problems: Does not run. The owner doesn't know why. He hasn't started it up in over a year. 246k miles. There is no rear bumper. Minimal rust but there is a bondo job on the passenger side rear corner. He's asking $2500. I mostly just want those snake skin seat covers. I have a nice 100 that I've been building up but would like an addition truck that's lighter, narrower, and better on gas for tighter more technical trails. Hence '85 4Runners. So what do you guys think it's worth? It seems like a new engine is around $1000-800.

1975 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 40 4x4. 40,000 original miles sat most of its years in a barn. The 6 cylinder went bad so somebody swapped in a Chevy 350 with TBI injection and put in the FJ 60 4 speed transmission. The Chevy motor is not healthy. It has the split case transfer case. It was torn down for a paint job and restoration job but never got finished. All in pieces but they are all there. Pedals are mint and so are the seats. I am selling my 88 FJ62. It has documented 121,500 miles. Has spent it's whole life in NM, and has been garaged 95% of the time when not on the road. I am the second owner, and bought it from an old neighbor that purchased it new when he was 71 years old. He used it to go back and forth from his Albuquerque home to his cabin 70 miles away on the weekends. He had it serviced every year and I have all of those records. I would be surprised if he ever drove it over 60. I don't think he ever had it in low range. The car is in great shape and I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. Hey guys I sold all my cruisers a couple years ago to start a new business. I'm jonesin for another one. I;d love to trade a painting for a 40, 55, or whatever. I have a very rare painting of Jim Morrison by Denny Dent. I was Denny's tour manager for 2 years in the late 90's. This painting was a gift to me from Denny on my last day. I live in an antique house so a 6 foot tall Jim Morrison painting doesn't really fit the decor. If you've seen the show Pawn Stars, it's the same painting that is framed on their wall on the show.
