Intermittent no start (fixed with high power jump)

Hey, so I’ve been dealing with an intermittent no start on my 1994 Toyota landcruiser recently. I took it to a shop where they claimed it was the starter which we replaced, still didn’t work shop claimed it was a bad part so we replaced it again. But the same problem is still going on, I can get it to start by jumping it with another vehicle. It also tends to start just fine in the morning but after I turn it off and go to start it later in the day it won’t start. Just need some advice on what to test and what it could potentially be.

I believe my ignition is still working because when I turn it to the start position it still makes an audible click noise as well as the whirring from what I believe to be the fuel pump.

I can get it to start by jumping it with another vehicle.

Sure sounds like a battery issue then. Check voltage, connections, etc.

Brand new battery strong clamps, gonna clean up the grounds next. Any other tips?

Thread 'Starting issue. No crank, no click'

Battery is newer. Fully charged. Terminals and cable ends are clean.

Turn the key, nothing happens.

Tried rowing through the gears or starting in neutral, no dice.

Held the key, unlocked steering wheel tilt, moved it up and down and it cranked. Started normally for a few days except once I had to repeat the above.

Now no matter what I try, it doesn't crank and no click from the relay.

Took the cover off the steering column and all the wires look new.

At a loss now. Any ideas?
