I stayed at the Knight's Inn once. It's close to the Hampton Inn. It was old but clean, and my room didn't haven strange odors...until I left! The price was right.
Wanted to thank everyone as always for such a great time and a great event. Did not get much trail time as the new engine (less than a week old) is running too hot for my liking at trail speeds. But my son and I buzzed around on back roads and...
Andy,
Driving in from the north would allow you to have a route mostly on interstates while also staying out of Charlotte traffic. I hope you can make it.
Red Hills activities are typically in the south GA (Albany-Thomasville) / FL Panhandle region so they might be a bit of a drive, but they are the only TLCA chapter in the state.
If you are interested in just connecting with local Cruiser heads...
Great meeting many of the crew and seeing some of you all again! I appreciate the warm welcome and learning a lot about the club, as well as how these events work. Great times!
I’ll have some more videos and pictures in a bit.
Since the hood insulators are so hard to ship I plan on bringing a few in my next container from Europe as the used ones are mostly falling apart after 30 years .
Btw I do have some nice footmats for the lhd 7x models that are not made out of...
Just got back. As always, a lot of fun with a great group. It was my understanding that they had +150 pre-registered with many more at the event.
Hope you can make it next year.
I know of at least 4 stamp sets then :)
It now has functioning brakes lights, turn signals, and running lights. I gutted the military lights and installed offroad LED pods for brakes and turn signals and mini lightbars for the running lights...

This might give you a taste of the plans in advance the full info release in May that Charles referenced
I do not recall finding any aftermarket options for the resistor, but I also do not recall looking either.
With the info provided by AirheadNut, I would suggest removing the resistor first to visually inspect it. My experience was the wire...
Had to grab a couple of things out of the Cruiser so I snagged a photo while I was there. Looks like just one screw to undo instead of two.
Here is a photo of the resistor, mine is a 12v variation so the part number might differ from your...
I GC'd my own house back in 1997, FWIW. I am an engineer by undergrad degree but grew up on a farm with various relatives that covered the gamut from carpentry to heavy equipment. I consider myself a decent trim carpenter and did all the trim...
Based on what I have encountered with my 70, your description indicates that the resistor is partially burned out. The last time I needed one some years ago, they were available but had to be ordered.
As Coldtaco already mentioned, the...
For anybody who doesn't already know - This is the route to/from Eldorado Outpost. Riverbend Campground is off of Mullinix Rd, which is slightly offset from Old Thayer Mill Rd. We'll have some signs out; they're blue with green or white arrows.
Campground layout. Also now included in post #1.
BTW, weather permitting, Saturday dinner and raffle will be held at the bottom corner of the bath house as it appears on this map. There are a fire pit and picnic tables there but bring your own...
