I am selling my 88 FJ62. It has documented 121,500 miles. Has spent it's whole life in NM, and has been garaged 95% of the time when not on the road. I am the second owner, and bought it from an old neighbor that purchased it new when he was 71 years old. He used it to go back and forth from his Albuquerque home to his cabin 70 miles away on the weekends. He had it serviced every year and I have all of those records. I would be surprised if he ever drove it over 60. I don't think he ever had it in low range. The car is in great shape and I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. I have a very rare painting of Jim Morrison by Denny Dent. I was Denny's tour manager for 2 years in the late 90's. This painting was a gift to me from Denny on my last day. I live in an antique house so a 6 foot tall Jim Morrison painting doesn't really fit the decor.
If you've seen the show Pawn Stars, it's the same painting that is framed on their wall on the show.

1986 HJ60 with a rebuilt 2H about 9 years ago,($9000 parts/labour)has less than 50,000km,truck has been sitting for 5 yrs.
The good:rebuilt engine,AXT turbo,3" straight pipe,mark's gear(3.08/1.08),ARB lockers front/rear,4.56 gears with 35x12.50x15 on american eagle wheels,factory a/c,H55F,old man emu suspension,safari snorkel,boost n pyrometer gauges,rear n rocker protections,was in BHCC many years ago.
The bad,body and frame has rust.
The owner has many landcruisers and no time,he has been driving HDJ81s.

Hey guys I had originally thought I was going to make my truck an expedition truck and buy another superduty. Well plans change lol. Here is the general breakdown. Last year of the 7.3 liter turbo diesel. Second owner. I bought it from a single mother in california in 2006 with 72000 miles on it. I did my research prior to buying this truck to find the major flaws and try to fix them. It has a manual transfer case shifter so no guessing and will always engage when the lever is pulled. I immediately installed a 6.0 transmission cooler increasing from the stock 8 row to the newer 29 row cooler. I have never had the transmission tempature above 200 degrees! I flushed and changed the transmission fluid and filter with ford fluid at the same...

Its tough to say, but my 4Runner is for sale. Just spent $1200 replacing the cam seals, crank seal, timing belt, water pump, belts, pulleys and shifter bushing. It's a hard decision to sell "Runner". It's been in the family since new. I'm the 2nd owner. My father purchased new from the dealership. It had been the general managers for a while as a demo vehicle.
But with the addition of my son and traveling with a Great Dane, it's just too small. I bought a Land Cruiser.
