Also went to a Toyota event in Malibu. Amazing weather and wife's first ride in Bacon Bits.

Installed front and rear cameras which are amazingly useful. Once the side cameras get installed I will no longer have blind spots. But first I need to get the slider steps made to mount them to. Doggos smelling the bacon

Always dug Bacon Bits - is a white/tan interior your finished goal?

I am a little torn between White/Tan vs. Gray/White. For now I have comfy seats and A/C so I am happy. Planning on working more on the suspension and storage and see where it goes from there.

The AC drier was moved from the bottom to the top in front of the battery. I was able to get a line made at a local hose and fittings specialist. Charged it up just under 2lbs and it's blowing ice cold!! AC is a must here in SoCal so this was an amazing upgrade to check off my list.

Did your local hose shop hae those bolt-ons for the drier and compressor ends?
I need to complete my AC set up.

I love this build!

Any updates?
Built the driver side slider step using 2x6. Very chunky once I got it all together. A lot easier getting in and out.

Rattle canned and lifted both tires off the ground to check for any movement.

So they ended up cutting the ends off and made the tubing and soldered the ends back on. Been working great since.

Silly dumpster trying to fit in

Purchased the Rock Jock universal sway bars for the front and rear and started the long process of measure - cut - tack - cut - measure x 10. 80 series front tow rings fit perfectly around the tubing for the torsion rod.

Mounted some new rubbers. 37" Yoko MT's. A lot quieter and lighter than the Toyos. However the Toyos definitely have a thicker side wall. Even at 5psi it wouldn't look deflated at all. I'm guessing since its not as heavy as your typical armored 80 would be.

The front was definitely harder to get right since articulation and lock to lock turn radius had to be interference free.

Had a chance to test them out. I have to say this was one of those upgrades that I wish I did a long time ago. On road and off it was a huge difference in drivabilty. Especially going through winding roads in the mountains. It kept the body level and didn't feel like I was ready to tip over and go over the edge.
