need to clear up some room,selling this for a friend,has been sitting on my lot.
1986 HJ60 with a rebuilt 2H about 9 years ago,($9000 parts/labour)has less than 50,000km,truck has been sitting for 5 yrs.
The good:rebuilt engine,AXT turbo,3" straight pipe,mark's gear(3.08/1.08),ARB lockers front/rear,4.56 gears with 35x12.50x15 on american eagle wheels,factory a/c,H55F,old man emu suspension,safari snorkel,boost n pyrometer gauges,rear n rocker protections,was in BHCC many years ago.
The bad,body and frame has rust.
The owner has many landcruisers and no time,he has been driving HDJ81s.

Hey guys I had originally thought I was going to make my truck an expedition truck and buy another superduty. Well plans change lol. Here is the general breakdown. Last year of the 7.3 liter turbo diesel. Second owner. I bought it from a single mother in california in 2006 with 72000 miles on it. I did my research prior to buying this truck to find the major flaws and try to fix them. It has a manual transfer case shifter so no guessing and will always engage when the lever is pulled. I immediately installed a 6.0 transmission cooler increasing from the stock 8 row to the newer 29 row cooler. I have never had the transmission tempature above 200 degrees! I flushed and changed the transmission fluid and filter with ford fluid at the same...

Its tough to say, but my 4Runner is for sale. Just spent $1200 replacing the cam seals, crank seal, timing belt, water pump, belts, pulleys and shifter bushing. It's a hard decision to sell "Runner". It's been in the family since new. I'm the 2nd owner. My father purchased new from the dealership. It had been the general managers for a while as a demo vehicle.
But with the addition of my son and traveling with a Great Dane, it's just too small. I bought a Land Cruiser.
Runner is an SR5 Model with the V6 3.0 Auto with optional leather and factory alarm. Adult owned. I'm 42. Oregon tags good until 10/12. 189,600 miles.

I have my Tacoma listed for sale on Craigslist locally for $19000 but seing as how I ultimately plan to put some of the funds toward another LandCruiser I thought I'd post it up here for trade (or sale if you you prefer). It's an 05' double cab long bed TRD sport 4x4 with ~119,000 miles on the clock. Options include power outlet in bed, sliding rear window, all the power stuff and all weather mats...I think that's about all. There weren't many options other than the TRD packages for this year. Note* If you aren't familiar with Samurais, The Toyota axle swap allows for the vehicle to be a lot safer when lifted. Samurai's are notorious for flipping when lifted because they are top heavy. What I have done to the vehicle allows for the base to be wider and longer. The shackles were extended. Also Lifting a samurai on stock axles, with big tires is extremely stressful on the axles and can cause damage especially if you're trying to wheel. I have eliminated that problem. It also has a super heavy duty clutch just installed. You can basically wheel on it and ride it...
