Hi all,
I have a 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ45 for sale, thing is it's in Sri Lanka. If there is serious interest I would like to discuss shipping this out to the buyer. Details of the vehicle are here - please email me for more information. If you have any technical questions I will try to reply as soon as possible once I have an answer from the guy that built this.

It's had quite a few modifications done to it (check link), and the current asking price is USD 28,000 - not including shipping. Price is open to some negotiation depending if you are serious.

Thanks!

Sorry, could not find out how to edit thread and wanted to post at least one image:

I believe the original 45 was a 2 door with facing seats? The guys did a 4 door conversion, as stated, sunroof was cut in too.

Big Cruiser Guy Hmmmmm.
You joined this forum this month, the vehicle is overseas, and it's way overpriced. This whole thing reeks of a scam.
On the other hand, if you are for real, let's see some pictures of the mini-bar on board.

I joined the forum with the specific intention of selling it. I suppose overpriced is relative, I'm open to negotiation to what anyone thinks would be a reasonable priced.

One thing i did overlook is that the import taxes for vehicles over a certain weight limit, depending on what state/province you're in, may be astronomical.

If it doesn't look like it makes sense to ship this out, there's very little chance I'll follow through. I'm not trying to scam anyone, just seeing what sort of vintage value there is for this thing outside of local interest.

I copy/pasted the description word for word from the guy that built this, and i'll be honest - mini-bar is quite an exaggeration. I was wondering wtf he meant when it's merely a space to hold two bottles in between the front seats, it's not cooled or anything.

There is, however, a cool-box powered in the rear, rigged to be powered by a cigarette lighter.

I'm a photographer by profession and this was rigged specifically for me to see and take pictures of wildlife. Hence the sunroof. The rear also has a drawer outfitted to put in things like my tripod, light stands and other non-delicate camera gear. Will try get some pictures of that too.

Cheers.
