Ok so I grabbed this jeep locally this week. I was looking for a car for my daughter who is abou to be 16. It's in such great shape I'm almost worried about giving it to her. I know it needs a motor and has either a turbo conversion or it may be stock. truck runs and drives but has a knock. ask questions and I will do my best to answer for samurai's are not my thing. I know this truck is rare in the US and everywhere for that matter. Its in good overall shape and what you see is what you get. It has a NJ clean title and asking price of 6k.
from what I am told this is a one year truck and is all stock with the exception of "maybe" the turbo. the turbo badge on the side may indicate stock. someone may chime in here and tell me yes or no.

I bought this truck in Oakland, California.
It is a 318 with manual transmission. Body is in excellent shape. I started to fix it up, but don't have time.
It will need new wiring. The original small back window was cut out, but I had it welded back to original and a new small window is in now. The dash was cut and I have a new one on hand. I found a stock 1966 bench seat and brackets and had it reupholstered in black vinyl.
The 318 in it now runs. I started it with a mason jar of gas. The fuel pump picked up fuel and it ran smooth. I have a NOS carb to replace the Quadrajet that somebody had rigged on it.
I have a nevada title too somewhere. I purchased it with a bill of sale, so not sure the title is even...
