82 FJ60 in SC
****update: sold for asking to a nice young dude in Nashville, who flew in and drove it 10 hours back. I had multiple serious offers/inquiries within hours/days, perhaps I priced too low but I originally bought it 4 years ago for less than $2k, so didn't feel the need to squeeze any more out of it. Thanks for all the interest. Original ad is left up in entirety for posterity/pricing reference***** I've come to the realization that I have too many projects and toys, and need to simplify my life a bit. We love the truck and it has a ton of character. It gets complements wherever we go. It costs me almost nothing to keep it so I'm not in a huge hurry to sell - I'm only posting it on ih8mud for now. Up for sale is my '82 FJ60...
1987 HJ60 Diesel
My wife and I are once again going to try and sell our HJ60. We posted it on MUD in 2013 but eventually changed our minds. I will simply cut and paste that original post here. It is all still relevant. Here is a link to the photos: I would think the state of the Canadian dollar compared to the US dollar would make this very tempting to a US resident. "Almost" showroom condition original HJ60 are apparently hard to come by so here it is. Cut and paste: Sadly I am selling my 1987 HJ 60, 2H diesel, Auto trans. Since retirement I am not using it and we want to become a one vehicle household. I am the second owner. It was purchased new in Vancouver, B.C. by a retired postal worker. I got it in 1997; a fluke opportunity to get an HJ60...

FJ 60 Toyota Land Cruiser Hi guys, a newbie here! I've been wanting a LC for a long time and just decided to get a 60 b/c I prefer stick so much. Here is a copy I found on CL. I had some additional pics of the undercarriage from the seller and it looks rust free. (Will post them when I figure out how to). But it will need to be desmogged and AC is not working at this time. What kind of offer should I make? Your input will be greatly appreciated.

It's a southern California car that's been in Colorado since 2012 so you won't find any cancer rust on the body nor frame. Purchased this in 2010 from an older gentlemen and was bone stock, but great condition. No rust issues. The Colorado sun has been harsh on the paint job and is peeling on the hood, but with the age of the truck can't be too surprised. I had grand plans of turning this into an expedition vehicle, so naturally I have a million other things I want to do to it. But with my first kid last year and...

'85 FJ60 Vortec, TBI, 700R4, 230k mi. : $8k obo- N. Idaho
$8kobo Need to let go of my beloved cruiser, life changes and little time to play with it. Story: Bought my cruiser in SC in 2010, was my daily driver. In 2012 jobs took us to Alaska until 2014 - stored in GA and driven just enough to keep everything moving. Returned to the lower 48 in 2014 and has been in ID since. I know there is less than 10k miles on it since engine swap but pictures are on a hard drive that I cannot access right now, but will definitely try to confirm. Tranny has about 5k on it since swap. Haven't driven it much since moving to ID, due to commute >45 miles. Work History 2010 - Front end rebuilt 2012 - New Chevy L31 Crate Engine w/ Vortec heads and serpentine belt system 46mm throttle body installed w/15lb. fuel...

I am asking $12000. Obo.

1989 FJ62 Indiana
1989 land cruiser Fj62 192,875 miles and counting Indiana $$9,500$$ I'm the 3rd owner of this FJ, I bought in October. I am not mechanically inclined so i had some immediate mechanical fixes done by kenny Kent Toyota mechanic in Evansville, In. I can hope to answer any questions about vehicle that you may have as well as take any extra pictures and be forthcoming with what I see or know about truck as much as possible. The truck was leaking a fair amount of oil onto ground when I got it, it is now not leaking onto the ground. The car shifts and drives very nicely. It's currently a second car for me and gets driven afew times a week. I'm moving and don't have room for two cars of my own. And frankly I don't have the time needed to bring...
1989 HJ61 Landcruiser
Left hand drive HJ61 Land Cruiser GX LHD with 12H-T turbo diesel engine and H55F 5 speed manual transmission. I am the first owner since being imported from Spain. This truck was my daily driver for a little over a year and have never had a single issue. Lubricating additive used with every fuel up. Starts and runs very strong.
