I've come to the realization that I have too many projects and toys, and need to simplify my life a bit. We love the truck and it has a ton of character. It gets complements wherever we go. It costs me almost nothing to keep it so I'm not in a huge hurry to sell - I'm only posting it on ih8mud for now.

Hi guys, a newbie here! I've been wanting a LC for a long time and just decided to get a 60 b/c I prefer stick so much.
Here is a copy I found on CL. I had some additional pics of the undercarriage from the seller and it looks rust free. (Will post them when I figure out how to). But it will need to be desmogged and AC is not working at this time. What kind of offer should I make? Your input will be greatly appreciated.

1985 fj60 daily driver. Desmogged, brand new clutch, replaced alternator, exhaust, radiator. Runs great. No AC, everything in place just doesn't work. Starts and runs great. Purchased in Nevada, drove it to NC this year (replaced clutch after). Rear shackles for 2" lift.
I am just starting to try to re-home my 60, I am not in a hurry to sell.
1986 stock fj60 2F 4spd.
Some rust, some small dents.
Clean title.
Body is straight and almost all of the electrical works as it should.
I just had the inner axle seals done up front.
Nearly 250,000 mi.
Multiple shades of white.

1987 FJ60 Land cruiser. 4x4, Original engine straight 6 w/4 speed manual transmission 178k mileage. It's a southern California car that's been in Colorado since 2012 so you won't find any cancer rust on the body nor frame.
Purchased this in 2010 from an older gentlemen and was bone stock, but great condition. No rust issues. The Colorado sun has been harsh on the paint job and is peeling on the hood, but with the age of the truck can't be too surprised.
I had grand plans of turning this into an expedition vehicle, so naturally I have a million other things I want to do to it. But with my first kid last year and...

Need to let go of my beloved cruiser, life changes and little time to play with it.
Story:
Bought my cruiser in SC in 2010, was my daily driver. In 2012 jobs took us to Alaska until 2014 - stored in GA and driven just enough to keep everything moving. Returned to the lower 48 in 2014 and has been in ID since. I know there is less than 10k miles on it since engine swap but pictures are on a hard drive that I cannot access right now, but will definitely try to confirm. Tranny has about 5k on it since swap. Haven't driven it much since moving to ID, due to commute >45 miles.

I am selling my 88 FJ62. It is the Champaigne color. It has 294k miles on it. Have owned it for a couple of years and now trying to thin the herd.
Body is straight it has a few blemishes on it. Some slight surface rust but nothing major where its going through.
It is a great platform for a custom build or total restoration.
Interior has the usual tear on the drivers seat. Dash is in good condition.
A/C works but needs to be recharged.
Tranny shifts smooth. Truck is a CA truck. PM if you have any questions .

I'm the 3rd owner of this FJ, I bought in October. I am not mechanically inclined so i had some immediate mechanical fixes done by kenny Kent Toyota mechanic in Evansville, In. I can hope to answer any questions about vehicle that you may have as well as take any extra pictures and be forthcoming with what I see or know about truck as much as possible. The truck was leaking a fair amount of oil onto ground when I got it, it is now not leaking onto the ground. The car shifts and drives very nicely.
