1984 FJ60
This has been a great truck but the time has come to let it go. Asking $10,000 it has 178k on the clock, and runs great. This is a west coast truck from Oregon and a true survivor. The chassis is very clean and the body is in good shape, other than a few dings here and there. Items Arb bull bar that allows for an 8274 warn winch not included, arb rock slider and side bars, safari snorkel installed but not plumbed to air box. Passenger grab handle installed to dash. 2 inch lift with cool cruiser dog bone shackles, old man emu shocks. 33x10.50 r15 bfg ATs. Changed the third members to ones with 4.11 gears. The only downside is it tends to run higher rpms at highway speeds with the 4 speed. Aussie locker in the rear. Newer brake lines...
I am hoping to find someone who has a decent carburetor core. I am looking to rebuild a carburetor for my 1984 FJ60. Ideally I would like to procure a carburetor core, rebuild it, and swap it with my tired carburetor that is currently installed. I then want to rebuild the tired carb for a shelf spare. If you happened to swap for a Weber or TrolleHole carb and have that old carb sitting around I am happy to take it off your hands.
I need to let go of my rebuilt 1983 FJ60. I have put a little over 7000 miles on it since the swap and have been driving it everyday. The body is is great shape with minimal rust and minor quarter panel damage on drivers side. Located in Huntsville, AL Mud Price is $20k. Upgrades include: 5.3L with 4l60E Conversion (LS Swap) ( L59 from Tahoe w 150k) Custom harness PCM program from Lt1swap.com Corvette Manifolds 2.5" exhaust to a Borla with single 3" output Tom Woods custom drive shafts Advance Adapters Kit uses original Toyota split case transfer case custom motor mounts and trans cross member AC conversion ( Toyota parts and Chevy parts) everything works including all original gauges Winters Gate Shifter Custom Engine Bay fuse box In...

1988 Fj62 Utah
Up for sale is my 1988 Fj62. This is my dream cruiser and daily driver and it kills me to list it but I will have a 2 1/2 hour commute twice a week here soon so my student bills and pocket book are forcing me to change gears! Runs and drives like a dream! (a bumpy dream full of mud and trails!) But really it tracks well down the road and is my daily driver with no issues what so ever. Shifts smooth, 4x4 engages with no issues. Really just a solid rig. It currently has 210K which will climb just a bit as I continue to drive it. Interior is extremely clean with no rips or tears, dash has two cracks. Any major rust has been cut out and repaired, two small surface rusts spots are present. Paint is 80% original with touch ups here and...
1990 FJ62 Northern Utah
$2500 firm Thought I would post this here before I put it up for sale locally. Selling my 1990 FJ62 (built end of 89) Good solid truck. Runs and drives well. There is some rust on the body, particularly near the wheel wells and the bottom of the doors. There is some surface rust above the windshield as well as on the hood. Its not a rust bucket by any means but it is there. The frame is in good shape with just some minor surface rust here and there. The rear frame channels are the worst but are still very solid (see pics). The transfer case leaks a bit of atf. According to my research on mud there is an o-ring in the tcase that can wear and allow atf to migrate from the trans to the tcase overfilling the tcase and causing it to leak. It...

1983 BJ60 5spd In Canada ...selling the project!
Hi The usual story that everyone has heard before...but its true! I picked this up from family 12 years ago, and they had it for about just as long. So its been in the family for about a quarter century give or take. A friend has done plenty of work such as rebuilding both hubs repairing rust by cutting out and replacing metal ( in some cases from rust free jaguar sheet metal and other doners ). As well as mechanical and electrical work... his work ...priceless!!! But he cant finish it anymore because of his back...and i cant because of work and space. Its a diesel engine with a 5speed manual tranny it had factory air conditioning ( the button is there) but the compressor and hardware have been removed. The drivers seat is worn the...
August 1984 FJ60 in medium blue - Mileage: 185,xxx This 60 was bought from a broker who had sourced this cruiser from the original owner. I am the 2nd owner to have ever registered this cruiser. This cruiser spent 99% of it's life in Washington state, With it having zero rust! Now it's home is Charleston SC. The original owner as well as myself kept it garaged, and didn't smoke or allow pets. The paint is original and for it's age is amazing! clear coat is flaking on two doors that's it. I bought this 60 last summer, and I have spent a lot of time and resources getting it to where it is now. I have receipts for most of the work due to me not being very mechanical. I have since hooked up with a landcruiser club and have learned a...
1985 FJ60
Hey guys and girls, sadly life happens faster than I expected and just coming back from a joint training exercise in Romania (Guardian Saber) I got the call today of my new orders being published for an unaccompanied tour for 2 years. With that said, I must sell my 85 FJ60 I purchased from a mud member out of Dallas Texas. I believe I'm the 4th owner. Truck is out of Arizona and Texas, so zero rust on frame and dog legs were repaired by previous mud member before I purchased. I flew out of Atlanta to Dallas and drove it the entire 788mi back with zero issues at 14.5-15mpg at 65mph. The good is that it runs and everything works as it should. The extra good is that it will come with an entire cargo area full of new parts I have buying...
82 FJ60 in SC
****update: sold for asking to a nice young dude in Nashville, who flew in and drove it 10 hours back. I had multiple serious offers/inquiries within hours/days, perhaps I priced too low but I originally bought it 4 years ago for less than $2k, so didn't feel the need to squeeze any more out of it. Thanks for all the interest. Original ad is left up in entirety for posterity/pricing reference***** I've come to the realization that I have too many projects and toys, and need to simplify my life a bit. We love the truck and it has a ton of character. It gets complements wherever we go. It costs me almost nothing to keep it so I'm not in a huge hurry to sell - I'm only posting it on ih8mud for now. Up for sale is my '82 FJ60...
