I did not, I have seen them mounted to the diff cover on a Dana 60 and the cover moves and the bolts loosen up..FYI

Yeah, you should look back through the thread and see how I had it mounted before :lol:
 
most likely no one else has ever put this much effort, time and money into steering on a 60 on leaf springs. :lol:
I am being extremely anal with this project. I want ZERO rubbing of any parts
It’s looking like it’s there.
Thinking it’s time to actually drill/ream the steering arms for the 5/8 bolts.
(The 3/4” bolts tack welded to the arms are just for mockup)

Little bit here and there. Finally felt ready to drill the steering arms.

Set Bridgeport head to 10-degrees.

Drilled with a 39/64” drill, reamed to .6224”
(I still had this same reamer from when I did my first high steer in 2018, 7 years ago!) so 5/8” bolts require a decent hammering to install. Chef’s kiss. Perfection.
