As long as the frame is solid, you can repair most of the body. My first 55 sat for 10 years before I had the body work done, a 1977. Then a carb fix and it ran great. Being in the Northeast salt zone, it did eventually rust again.

Sad that it was mainly a jeep event. Most had buggies and did the trails at F&F. We did cross a group of jeeps on the class vi roads...
