I could use one less truck around my place and don't have too much free time right now to finish parting this girl, so, here goes............a 90 FJ62, champagne in color. No rust. Anywhere. Truck came from Arizona and is the cleanest 60/62 series I've ever owned (and that's a lot of trucks). Bad news- I've taken a number of items from the truck already- all the power window and door lock switches, power mirrors, rear stabilizer, Ac amp, and seat belts are gone. No title (but I think I can get it readily). Front end has some damage to the fenders and grille but I can throw in a driver fender and grille with the truck. Dash pad is cracked badly from the AZ sun. Has ugly tube bumpers front and rear.
The good- rust free frame and body. Doors, upper and lower tailgates are excellent. Quarter panels are perfect even around the wheelwells, roof is good too. Glass is good. It has a sunroof that was fairly neatly installed. Headliner good and brown seats are perfect- even the driver seat. Door panels are nice. Tail lights perfect. Runs and starts fine, 151K on odometer. 4WD works great, shifts in and out as it should. Transmission works great. Engine sounds great, doesn't make any bad noises and doesn't smoke. This truck of course has the stock axles with 4.10 fine spline thirds, the good Aisin hubs, and good vented disc brakes. Power steering works perfectly. Unmolested under the hood and I didn't notice any fluid leaks although I don't park it in my garage. Dashboard is nice. Has the stock chrome wheels with decent tires. Spare is in place. Exhaust seems pretty good. No check engine light comes on. Has an aftermarket (Sony?) stereo.
Buy this truck just for the axles and power steering box- I used 62 parts on my pig when we sprung her over, and they're ideal. Sell the rest of the parts off and make some money. There's easily $2000 in sellable parts left on this truck. Obviously the buyer needs to be able trailer or somehow tow this thing from my place here in northeast PA, it is not currently PA inspected. I'm not far from exits 124 or 131 of Interstate 81. Ask questions, come get this out of here!!!!! Shmukster
