I just posted up a similar ad on the 80 series side of things. If things go as planned, I should be in the market for an 80 series starting tomorrow. I think I have my 99 4runner sold (kid brought me $2500 today to hold it) and if that goes through, I will be in the market.
With that being said, it's looking like I will have around $5000 to spend, maybe more if I can get some other things sold that I need to part with like tires
Just wanted to get the feeler out there now, just in case anyone is getting ready to put one up on Mud.

Am thinking about selling my red Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 as soon as it gets out of the shop after carb rebuild, and other things costing around $1,000. $11,250 is the median price for this vehicle, according to NADA. That seems a little steep, to be honest. My brother and I have owned this car for around 20 years, at one time I owned two FJ60s (this and my mother's 83, which I sold to my Marine neighbor who kept pestering me). All this to say, I love and know Land Cruisers. $5995 would be a fair price. This 1984 60 Series FJ is in very good condition. Used at a cabin as a hunting vehicle in the mountains for the past several years, it has lower than average mileage at only 164,840 miles.
Even though it’s been rhino lined on the outside, according to the previous owner the rhino liner was not applied to cover up any rust and the body was rust free before the application was done. Going around the body and inspecting it closely and banging on the metal in the usual problematic areas appears to confirm that the body is indeed in very good condition.

We originally bought this rig as a showpiece platform for an outfitting business we were starting, but new opportunities arose before we completed the trim. It is a 1988 FJ62 with a 350 Chevy engine, an automatic transmission, a 4” suspension lift plus a 2” body lift. We put on a new Body Armor winch bumper, Old Man Emu rear shocks, new fron t differential bearings and the knuckle hubs were rebuilt. We rebuilt the steering linkage and performed a full alignment. Looking for a Cruiser to replace a Range Rover that is presently in a Lion exhibit at an internationally recognized zoo in Southern California. This vehicle is a major part of the exhibit theme, the guest experience and is prominently placed for the Lions to enjoy and all to see. The theme is a researchers camp. While they are out the Lions moved in. The Lions love it. They lay on top and inside and chase each other around it. This vehicle ends up in everybody's pictures.

Up for sale is a very clean 1989 FJ62 in Champagne. The car drives great and starts up every time. It has a 2.5 inch OME lift and steering stabilizer. There is absolutely no rust on the body or frame and the interior is clean with a very small rip in the driver's seat. Selling my 85 Cruiser that I bought over in San Diego late last year. Decided to devote myself to my FJ62. Thought I'd put this here on Mud before putting it up on Craigslist around the Southwest. This is a California truck in the desirable and rare copper metallic. Great recent paint job. Fantastic brown interior with the mustard and cream striped pattern. Drivers seat has been rebuilt and sits high and proud. No cracks in dash. Probably the nicest interior I've ever seen on an 85. Few small stains on headliner but that's it. Put adapters for three point harness seatbelts in rear seat. There are pictures of the truck in my album too. This truck was in an accident about 15 years ago and finally went through salvage title...
