Here she is... 1988 TLC FJ62... I bought this truck
I bought this truck 4 years ago and sold it to a 60+ year old polo manager. He drove it like grandpa and put less than 4000 miles on it. They are only here in the summer. They are not coming back next year so I bought it back.
The top part of the truck is the original paint which is in excellent condition, but the bottom part had a few scratches and dings we had to pull and everyone seems to be loving the two tone we are doing on them. The bottom color is Dodge Western Brown, which I think is such a classy color. We also just installed a complete Old Man Emu suspension with steering stabilizer. This is an original FJ60. It has the original engine, with some minor upgrades, such as an aluminum 3-row radiator. It has had some work done, I put a new battery less than a year ago, the radiator and a water pump were installed in March. I have the old rad, but it was plugged and I didn't want to fuss with it. I also had helper leafs installed in the rear last summer to help with the normal Cruiser sag.
It has low miles for its age, tons of life left! I've had this cruiser for about 4 years, but finishing my degree has taken a priority over having a fun project rig. I had great and lofty plans. This has been my daily driver since I got it, except for long trips.

I am selling a Tan 1987 FJ60 with a manual transmission that is mostly stock and needs a little exterior love. The truck functions smoothly and the engine was rebuilt around 180000 miles.
This FJ60 was in almost pristine working order until a small accident involving it rolling down a hill. I've had the vehicle inspected and the damage was apparently relegated to the exterior.
Known Problems:
-Small areas or rust on the exterior.
-Power steering belt needs replacing.
-Body damage to both front fenders, rear fenders, tail gate, and rear bumper.
-Tail light plates need replacing.
-Horn function is spotty.
-Tail pipe is slightly pinched.

I have a 1985 toyota 4×4, 5spd, carburated engine with approximately 54k original miles. It has the extended cab and camper shell. It's smogged and registered in CA. Mechanically runs great and I use it almost daily. It has a bit of rust and I can send more detailed pictures if interested. Hi all... just like a few others, I am also looking for a nice, clean, low to no rust truck. I prefer 160K miles or less and hopefully a clean interior. I like original and resto mods so send me what you have, details, pics, and a contact you can be reached at. I am looking for something less than $10K but willing to spend a little more for the right truck. I do have a couple of extra 2f motors and transmissions so if it needs mechanical or even a little body work that is okay too.

Testing the waters with selling my FJ60. It is a tank. Has a 350TBI dropped in it and it runs great. has a 3 inch lift on 35's, ARB rear lockers (with on board air compressor), 42 gallon tank, 4x4 works awesome, full floating test axle, the black portion is line-x (had all the rust removed and covered with it) and if you are into it there is a good sound system in it too. The time has come for Blue Bell to find another home. My boys (15, 11 and 9) have really enjoyed this cruiser but we are presently headed in a new direction. Our drive way will only accommodate so many vehicles and this is now on the market.

I'm looking for a FJ60 preferably, but would consider a 62 as well. Looking in the $6000-8000 range for a daily driver with little to no rust. I'm not a purist, so V8', lifts, mods are welcome within reason. Doesn't have to be a beauty queen. Well, I ended up having surgery and will be down for around 6 months. I had picked up a 1988 FJ62 to install a v8 into. The fj62 is in pretty amazing shape. The only problem with it is a ding in quarter panel. I'm located near downtown Houston. I have a Chevy 5.7l v8 with matching 4l60e that came out of the same 2wd running Chevy. I have all wiring, a garage full of parts to go with it from both the fj62 and the Chevy. I have all drive shafts. Have a split case bolted to a 4 speed transmission out of a 87 fj60. Doesnt leak. DOES NOT USE or LEAK OIL. It starts right up on the coldest days. Lots of torque for when you're in the woods and still gets 25 mpg on the highway doing 70 mph! Sometimes I find myself going faster, truck is a blast to drive and goes anywhere! As with most Land Cruisers it does have some rust in the typical areas (corners of the doors, back quarters) Better than most, not as good as some, but priced accordingly. Been a while since I've been in a landcruiser, but I'm ready to get back in one. I'm looking to see if I can seal a deal in the next 2-3 weeks before I start a new job, and I'm willing to fly to wherever and road trip it back.
That said, I'm looking for something that will be able to make that trip and be used as a reliable daily driver. I have a few picked out on CL from around the country, but I figured there's a lot of stuff on Mud that wouldn't actually be listed anywhere, and I can probably trust you guys a little more.
My budget range is anywhere from $7k to say $13 or 14K. I need something that isn't going to require work to get going, is as rust-free as possible, and has all the major components in working order...
