GX is gonna get the Hybrid twin scroll 5.7 from the 200.......so add two turbos and two inline electric motors off the front and rear of the tcase 750hp and 1000ftlbs tq......and 10.5" trundra axles front and rear. Unfortunately- its getting...
I could have built two one ton axles for what this Toyota one cost. But everyone said you can't run hard buggy stuff on Yota axles. Sadly the 9.5 diff wont fit into the frt of a 80 without some mods.. Ran this axle for 4 years and beat it like...
I was wondering how long it would take... :worms:
Then again, I've been told (by the late Tools R Us, no less) that the axle is called a 60 because it'll hit the rocks 60% of the time. :hillbilly:
From my experience with my K5, I'll have to...
I use all of the payload on my 80 regularly. And for the record I checked my wife’s outback’s door jam which also indicated 900lbs. Seems to be Subaru’s target number.
If a salesman walked up as I was reading that add-on sticker, pretty sure anything I'd say to him/her wouldn't be very kid friendly. Not sure if insulting or appaling is the correct word to describe that nonsense.
Wonder if they have European curb weight on the USA site and the missing battery weight is the difference? But 1100lbs is not at all impressive. That sucks. Thats barely over car numbers.
I don't understand the "1100 (FE)" payload number above. Based on Toyota website it should be 6725 - 5037.5 = 1687.5lbs
Only thing I don't like about the 250 is the rear axle. Otherwise I like how the premium is equipped to all other options.
I wish it was a sunny day when you took the pictures of that truck. I think that's going to be a popular color.
That addendum sticker is a joke. Happy my dealer does not play that game.
Went to go see the First Edition LC this morning. All of the measurements are the same as the GX except the height of the load floor which seems to subtract 3 3/4" from the overall opening and interior height. Here are the measurements...
Dose nobody take care of their leather? My 80-series steering wheel is showing age with 284K but still has the original leather with no tears. Some very light cracking. And I don't consider myself great on the care level. Driver's seat...
Assuming the 4R follows suit on the Tacoma pricing above it looks to be a better value than the LC similarly equipped. There used to be some definitive differences between the two. Now it appears the LC badge is very expensive.
So 250-series LandCruiser trim and Tacoma Trail Hunter are basically the same MSRP. But the Taco gets rock rails, lightbar, high air intake, scene lighting, ARB rear bumper, OME shocks, roof rack. Unless all the Trail Hunter goodies are not...
