Dream 60 Series - original, rust free body with 1HD-T 5 speed conversion
Well guys, this is it. If you are thinking this is some kind of fire sale, stop reading now. This is the rig we have all dreamed about and it is beautiful. And, it is located in Nashville, TN. I have owned it for 8 years. We took it on an 11,000 mile road trip to Baja and then used it as our only US based vehicle for 5 years while we were living abroad for work. These 40,000 miles of driving convinced me that it needed more power. I had it converted to diesel by Diesel Toys in San Antonio and then 7,000 miles later rebuilt by ATEB/TorFAB. This is frankly a big part of why it's listed here - just the heart break of having to do that and go without it for another 4 months. Bottom line, this is the nicest driving diesel 60 you will...
Ladies and Gents, I'm very new to the land of land cruiser. But, I do believe I have the bug. After moving to Grand Junction, Colorado from Nashville, Tennessee I can see the NEED, yes NEED not WANT, for a 60-series Land Cruiser. I would like to get one that is in good enough shape to be a daily driver, and also good enough to take the wife camping on the weekends. (Maybe some very minor 4x4ing). I am somewhat mechanically inclined; i.e I know enough to get things really messed up. But, have rebuilt a few engines in my day. Anyway, if any of you fine people see a decent looking rig, I would appreciate your input. Thanks, and have a great Christmas.
Texas (DFW) ’82 FJ60
If you want to build a show piece, start with something else. If you want something cheap and cheerful that needs just a bit of TLC, this may be the one. It’s been desmogged and, as best as I can tell, sat outside in the TX sun for a long time before I got it about 4 years ago. So, it has a strong engine with low miles (119K) but also a dodgy body and interior - pics are of the worst bits. The bad news: I haven’t figured out the A/C and the wiper motor, volt meter & radio have all gone south. The good news: it’s yours for $2,200.
I'm in search for a light blue fj60 preferably with little rust but some mechanical issues are ok. On the east coast would be nice as I'm in Virginia but can travel. Stock or lightly modified would be great as I am going to be using this as more of a travel vehicle than a trail rig. I have 2 40's right now and have been wanting a 60 for a while now just cant find one that fits the build, hope someone can help. Thank You Everyone

This is Steve Jackson's (Owner of Land Cruisers direct) personal HJ61 that he has built. The rig has been for sale for a while now, but he just lowered the price to get rid of it to make room for a new build. I have personally driven this rig and it led me to purchase my own HJ61! Since I drove it Steve has done a ton of upgrades on it including a recent repaint, a lift, new tires, OBA, ARB awning, the list goes on and on. Because Steve is a vendor here on mud I'm not sure how the rules work so I thought I would post this up for him. It's wayyyyyyy to good of a deal for someone here to not snatch it up! $21,000 for a turn key Expedition built HJ61 with the 12H-T is a stupid good deal. If it sits for too much longer it just might...

1984 FJ60 with 90k miles / Clean CarFax / Clean Tit
This is a very rare opportunity! I am very confident you will never find a better example of a Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60; of any year. This literally turns heads everywhere I go! So here's the story: Much to the dismay of my wife, I literally scour the internet daily to find unmolested rust free Land Cruisers; diamonds in the rough. About 6 months ago I found an advertisement in Texas that looked promising. After speaking at length with the owner I knew this truck showed a lot of promise. I made an agreement with him and booked a flight for my mechanic to check it out. One week later my mechanic flew to Dallas to check it out. It was obvious that the owner really cared for the truck and wanted to make sure it went to someone who...

Looking for a 60/62 somewhere in Texas. I am near San Antonio. Is going to be mostly DD for wife so DD or dang close to DD status is a must. Doesn't have to be perfect (and won't be for my budget). Under 200k miles would be great. Unfortunately, she wants an auto trans. Budget is $9k. She currently drives a V8 '04 4Runner that will be up for sale soon as we find a 60/62, so would also trade 60/62 for 4Runner. Thanks, Stephan

1983 FJ60 w/ V8 in Tampa, FL
PRICE DROP - Updated last post 10k, or best. Hello IH8Mud Community! I am selling my 1983 Toyota FJ60 Land Cruiser, which I bought a little less than a year-and-a-half ago in Texas. Since then, she's made a couple of great trips with us, from the Outer Banks on down the Pan-American Highway to Colombia. Sadly it has come time to let her go, mainly because my girlfriend and I just purchased a great FJ Cruiser for the next phase of our adventures. The FJ60 has a fuel injected Chevy 350 with an automatic transmission. A small exhaust manifold fire put a damper on our Pan American trip last year, but also forced us to do a good bit of work on the rig. We re-wired the fuel injection and ignition systems, as well as rebuilt the alternator...

Canadian HJ60 1986
Hello I am selling my 1986 HJ60 Landcruiser. Here is a bit of the history on this vehicle, and I suppose my family. This vehicle has been in our family since around 1988. I was at the Toyota dealership when a fellow brought in the HJ60 to trade it for a truck. Of course I talked to him about his Landcruiser as I currently had a BJ60, but had had FJ40’s since my very early 20’s. This HJ60 was in show room condition when it was brought in. The seller still liked it but he was a farmer and wanted a truck. It just so happened that my father had talked about getting a Landcruiser so I phoned him and said that if he wanted this one it wouldn’t be here long, so my Father came down to the dealership the next day and bought it. During the time...
