I'm not going to pay the full retail price that you would get if you parted it out, I'm looking for something that your wife hates and she wants it gone or it's just taking up too much space in your shop and you want it gone. Custom, rare, completely restored Bj60 (running gear and frame) with an HJ61 High Roof body.
This project involved swapping a RHD body onto a LHD chassis. Essentially I swapped firewalls...every spot weld removed from each firewall, swapped, and re-fitted into place. This required a complete tear down of the front clip...every hose, wire, harness, and bolt that was attached to the firewall.
This project required over 1000hrs to complete.
The BJ60 frame was repaired as necessary and painted.
The HJ61 body was repaired (what little rust there was on it), and painted.

Looking for an FJ60/62 close to the southern Nevada area. Prefer engine that is close to stock or has been replaced with equivalent stock parts; reason for this is that I'm trying to stay away from the "benefits" of technology to make it easier to repair and service myself. I've reluctantly decided to sell my 1987 FJ60 which is currently being used as my daily driver. Everything is well maintained, currently registered in CA, thus passes CA smog. I'm selling the vehicle due to a new job and longer commute, thus it's just not practical for me to drive. The truck is all stock, 4spd transmission, has some rust, but nothing major. Overall, the truck is great, I use it daily so please feel free to contact with any questions.
The Good!
The original 2F engine was replaced with a lower mileage rebuilt 2F. Approximate mileage on the new engine is 140k and installed less than a year ago
In addition, the truck has a new clutch, radiator, front and rear brakes, catalytic converter and exhaust have all been replaced...

Its a 1990 FJ62, 212K, interior is in great shape, paint is super nice, he thinks it is original paint. Has a new OME lift, 4 plus front and rear bumpers, new 33x10.5 BFG's, Piranha sound-dvd-rear camera installed by toyota. Everything works on this baby. Also has a new Rhino rack with a Rhino rack sun seeker and a number of extra accessories on the roof. He also has a brand new base tent that goes with the awning but would like extra for it...

I am looking to sell my 1982 Toyota FJ 60. I am the 3rd owner and I have all the maintenance records for the vehicle since it had 50k (A large folder full). Quite a bit of work has been done in the last 5k miles. It has 166k miles on it and it runs incredibly well! It was smogged in May. Here are lists of the good and bad as well as a list of work done in the last 5k miles (Over $6500 of work with receipts). This is not a pristine FJ60 that needs no work. There has been an extensive amount of work done on it and is a solid rig but still needs some work. Asking $4700obo

Clear title.
Runs and drives very well. Well maintained. I have owned it for just over over two years. The only major work I've done to it is replace all the seals on the transfer case. During the time I've owned it I have ran nothing other than non-ethanol fuel in it. I have only put full-synthetic oil in the engine.
Four-wheel drive works great.
Tires are almost new- BF Goodrich All-Terrains.
Dashboard and door panels are immaculate.
Carpet is in good condition. There is a small amount of damage to the carpet in the cargo area. I put a mat over it which works well.
Paint and body are in great shape. There is a small amount of rust showing on the rear driver-side fender. It is noted...

hello I've had the truck up for sale for a while now and it's time to part with it. I'm located on Long Island. It's runs great with complete rebuilt 2f motor that's followed up with a 4spd. I want to get close as possible to 9k. No rot no rust on this truck. It's stored in a garage and is never in the rain. It's never seen rain since I've owned it.
