I have a 1977 FJ40 for sale that is in beautiful condition. It features, the larger 2-F motor, disk brakes, 4 speed manual transmission and rear ambulance doors. It has had no body damage and NO RUST present. Basically stock from a mechanical standpoint with aftermarket powersteering unit added. Engine was replaced about 5K miles ago with a NEW, not rebuilt, inline 6 motor. Radiator, belts, hoses, battery all replaced at same time. front disc brakes, Suspension is stock and has 4:11 gears. I have all maintenance and repair receipts and all service history since owned. 59,000 original miles with only 5000 on new engine.
FJ40 has safari rack, brush guard with WARN 5000 winch with 8000 Lb. capacity. Interior is beautiful and stock except for the aftermarket AM/FM cassette deck. Has CB installed above mirror.
Asking price is $20K, flawless black paint, runs strong and dependably, not a project but rather close to show quality. I welcome inspections of the vehicle and am sure this FJ40 will not disappoint!
