Why are you picking at the harness?
Do you have TEQ black tape to wrap it all back up ;)

Wish I did. The electrical tape used by Yazaki on these harnesses is pretty impressive. Still sticky and gooey 30 yrs later.

But no.

3M professional grade stuff going back on.

So as the hole deepens, each component system in the HVAC system writ large will be addressed. Tonight was the blower motor and housing.

First get it out and then start disassembly:

Use elliot tape to rewrap. It's what coolerman uses.

And how it will look in the assembly in both positions:

Looks almost as good as it was from the factory. Maybe better.

Anyway, now to assemble the thing back together for eventual re-entry.

That has to be one of the more intricate cab rebuild items. Well done O.

I love ebay. 6 rolls of the high temp polyester tape ordered.

$43 to my door. The things we do for our Land Cruisers.

Thanks for the lead Spike.

I will demand a report. If successful, I will be ordering some myself.

I have used Super 88+ to wrap all of my harnesses, and while it has worked well, I don't like it being even a little bit sticky under there if I unwrap it--The factory harness isn't, after all.

Onur, is that foam the same that you used on the surrounds for the vents earlier (where the white foam from Lowe's didn't work)...enough from one kit?

Jebus Onur...I see old del maguey lives for another night :D

lov'n the clean air new diverter foam BTW...

...one trip through nevada will take care of that :D

Onur sure knows how to have a wild Saturday night. I like the beverage options on the table in the background.
