Cut my rear quarters up to the wheel well and back another 1.5"'s to fit my tires.

Played with the 4 link calculator figuring out the geometry for my rear. Hoping to turn it into a senior design project for the fall.

1 hour drive time. Mostly highway. It's the longest ive been in it since the completion of 3 year restoration.

had a hard time keeping the valve cover gasket in place this time while installing the valve cover. Is there some secret I'm missing? QUOTE]
Hay skidplate a little late but what i do is get some high tack gasket sealer and coat the valve cover side so the gasket sticks to the cover. they sell it at most auto stores usually with all the other gasket makers and rtv stuff.

I finally pulled the cluster out to clean, service, and re-paint needle pointers.
The speedo cable connection was the most PITA but after 30+ years I suppose its got to be earned. All electrical connections cleaned and 158 bulbs replaced by LED's.

I fabricated a gauge cluster plate for the stock radio hole. The PO had them mounted below. I don't like chrome or wires sticking out.

Finished my custom ammo can center console. I just need to paint it and have my leather guy make a arm rest pad for the top.

Lowered my wife. LOL the PO had the cadi seats mounted to high so she looked into the top of the windshield frame. She does not have power seats front to back now though.

Got my gas piston rear hatch lifts. I can't wait to get them in. I am sick of my rear hatch falling down and hitting me in the head.

New Shoes

Picked up a set of 33 x 10.50 15s. Great tires and i love the way they look. Plus they are much more stable than the 33 9.50s, which I still have....

Hey Josh,

What kind of lift are you running on your 77? Is that a 2 inch or a 4 inch? That's exactly the look I'm going for (some day).

Josh - you're the one with the '40 I drool over every time I see it go down Walton Blvd! I'd like to check that thing out up close some time! - JP
