What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week? (20 Viewers)

Fixed my mis-fire issue on my SBC 350.
Replaced the:

Plugs
Plug wires
MSD Cap and Rotor

Removed and cleaned the MSD Pro Billet distributor
Did a complete valve adjustment
Reset the timing.

Now it runs perfectly.....Finally

Isn't that a great feeling? Congrats!

Finally cleaned the garage and reorganized it so I could dig the 40 out of the snow and bring it in.

Now it time to work on the hardtop.

Got the 3fe for my 40 on the engine stand ready for teardown.

Made her take me to Arizona for the holidays again. 883 mile round trip with no problems! Unless you count having snow blow in your face through the hardtop. Guess I still need to re-caulk up under the front lip.

It was a quick trip to see the folks so wasn't able to wheel her at all.
I did get off the road for a minute on the way back home though.

Had a busy week but the cruiser has never ran so good! Took of the two barrel Rochester to replace with a holley projection off of CL for $200 (Score!) and then took off the over the frame headers to replace with ram horns and a new exhaust out the back. Sounds great! And got all the metal for the next project a rear bumper and a roof rack over my FST. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and getting ready for a New Year.

Didn't realize the snow was about 5 feet deep until I decided to turn around. Good thing the winch worked

I have been hacking away at a chassis swap, and my tub is on the floor,,, I had a family christmas party,, a pile of rocks.... and,,, WELLLLL.... we wheeled my 40. Kinda.. lol

Figured more of the brake lines out. Not sure if I like the setup yet or not, but heck it's progress. Also painted the new to me calipers as they were showing signs of rust. Down side of living near the beach and no garage.

Edit: that is the Master I picked up. Looks identical to the Marlin one though? Which is still for sale.

What paint did you use on calipers?

No fun here. I only had a couple hours to spend on it, and I got it this far with a heat gun, a paint scraper and a little bit of flap disc on the grinder.
