33x10.50-15 on 8" white spokes with 3.5" back spacing with 1/4" spacers on all 4 corners.

Now I can go wheeling nag get em dirty.:D

Installed a two inch autometer tach, and a new parking brake cable. Also replaced my clutch slave.

I replaced the stock Aisan carb with a brand new Weber 38. Granted, the Aisan was due for a rebuild, but wow what a difference! I'm loving the electric choke, and there is a huge increase in acceleration. Also, before, I could barely hit 60mph with it floored, and this afternoon I took it out on the highway and hit 75mph with lots of throttle to spare (too scared to go any faster!) This is all out of the box, too, I didn't have to adjust a thing, except up the idle a tad.

Replaced my PS front axle seal and wheel bearings - took about 6 hrs and 4 beers. Not bad for a rookie.

Installed an FJ60 double cardan drive shaft in the rear of my FJ40. Will be testing it out later today...if the heat doesn't kill me.

Let's see... This week I bought a 3 speed tranny and transfer case for my 74 40 and also bought a window regulator, painted it to matched before realizing it was for the wrong side.... Oops. Guess I'll have an extra...

Also bought a motor with 47,000 miles on it and an extra 3 speed tranny just in case...

Washed and waxed the 40......this may be the last time it will be bright shiny red.....The weathers hot so she will be heading to the painter as soon as I can make up my mind on Hot Rod Flatz Desert Tan or a normal shiny Desert Tan color.

4 beers in 6 hrs! You are a rookie!

Just kidding...
Heh. Yeah, if I was in my own garage with my own beer, I wouldn't have limited myself. And the truck would still be torn apart. :hillbilly:

this week ish...

Finally finished my Center console made out of an 40mm ammo can. Not entirely happy with it, but it works for now.

All the blueish green bits are leather, it looks more green in person.

Needs some orange stitching. Go Dolphins! :D

Removed the Diamond Plate 1/4"s and found fiberglass under about 3/8" of Bondo. Apparently my 40 has been gold at some point in its life. My quick scuff and shoot of Flat Khaki has been delayed. It will be better in the long run.

Destin, your starting to piss me off!

went out to yachats for the weekend :)

Damn, I miss Oregon! Don't stop the photos on my account!

Installed a Be Cool radiator.

The stock radiator allowed the temp to climb to around 225* when idling around for extended periods of time.

New radiator keeps the temps down around 220* LOL... I think I need a shroud, I only have an electric fan at this point. (195* t-stat)

I have a similiar radiator with two electric fans. The first fan kicks on at 200, the second at 220. No fan off the motor!
