This is actually more of a 4 week update, but I got busy and didn't post up.
--Rubbed out the paint on the whole cruiser with rubbing compound. Red compound on white paint is tons of fun...
--Finally got done reworking the wiring harness and all the lights work

. To get to this point I re-made the rear harness with weatherproof connections and lots of di-eletric grease, cleaned all the grounds (di-electric grease again...see a trend?) cleaned the headlamp and hazard switch contacts, replaced the park light switch, both tail lights, the back-up light, both rear side markers, both front side markers, and new turn signals (all new Toyota OEM parts).
--Found 3 wires inside the dash that were rubbed through so fixed those and reinforced the section of the loom that could rub against the firewall and now my heater blower works
--Replaced the rear Toyota and 4Wheel Drive emblems along with the Toyota Land Cruiser emblems up front.
--Rebuilt the emergency brake from scratch. The PO(s) had removed all the guts (probably bad output shaft seal). So I had to source all the parts, except one that I had to make (little washer thing that goes on the post at the 12 o'clock). Speedi-Sleeved the drum (probably didn't need it but what the heck. Wire wheeled and repainted gloss black before rebuilding.
--Wire wheeled the brake drums and painted gloss black.
--New OEM mirrors and arms. Took the arms to be blasted and powdercoated.
--Found an extra OEM steelie on CL for $25 so now all 5 are getting blasted and powdercoated gloss black. 5 new BFG AT's in 33x10.50 will be going back on along with 5 new OEM hubcaps
***Next up on the list is a knuckle job with with new wheel bearings while I'm in there. Still trying to figure out if both driveshafts need new U-Joints***
