Using a newly sourced white and red pigment product recommended by my special friend and consultant at the Baltimore visionary Art museum , has made
Things ........?

Well better :)

There is nothing “ better “ of a feeling inside when I take. a 31 year old original land cruiser pull switch knob or control cable knob and make it simply “ alive again “ to and for its future home and owner operator to use , enjoy , and serve for the foreseeable future and future generations of land cruisers owners and drivers to be ,

I must know what this magic pigment is...!!!
😎😎

I took the driver door window regulator out, observed its gear problem, ordered a new aftermarket pair. While I was in there, I vacuumed out a ton of soil, and rotted door parts junk, cleared the drain slots, and found the window side channel that is supposed to be holding the lower portion of the driver window by the door regulator mechanism. Sorry, no pics.

Started ripping apart the hardtop so it can get blasted.

Much to my surprise, I found a pristine driver-side door sill with the original paint and OEM bolts. Considering that this rig has been PO'd to hell and back, I am really happy that something original survived,

Since the build is 100% a complete frame off with a color change, I decided to leave my mark for the next person that ends up delving this deep into the rig.

I'm planning on leaving as much of the original Cygnus White without rust as possible, just because this rig needs something original.

Well I'll be damned, that's looking an awful lot like I should call in sick and go fishing tomorrow.

As a 3rd Gen Californian, (and remaining NRA member) I can tell you.....the milk and honey left a long, long, long time ago. I'll hold my tongue for what's replaced them, and where it's heading.

Personally I think I'd rather be suffering from the new Montana19 Virus and self isolating, in MT running out of Blue Ribbon Flies with my little brother on the Madison.

MUCH envy - @rkymtnflyfisher - MUCH envy!!!! I have a dream to bring my Olive 40 to your neck of the woods one day

BRF is my favorite shop over in West Yellowstone, mostly for the fact that they sell huge patches of fur. You can go hand pick your fur specifically for the flies you're tying.

My shirt for tomorrow.
