Made some progress cleaning up 52 years of gunk.

I attempted something new this after noon :

- while bench testing a new incoming OEM AM unit NON-USA stubby style ..........

- the interior illumination bulb was burned out , common after 30+ years

- i have always soldered in a T-5 wedge bulb back ...............

- NOT this time , i wanted to attempt to to have " PHISH " play live inside. The OEM head unit !

- much like a Night Club , a Orange Needle selector will burst the Blue and Violets
in the Visual Spectrum



this little guy , by attempting to Soldering a T-10 Multi LED's bulb in place ........

Got a new voltage regulator and some extras courtesy of @ToyotaMatt. He threw in some new wire leads for it but mine are in good shape so I’ll save them for when I need them. Installed a new washer fluid tank and wiper switch this week as well. It’s the little things!

Those turned out great. Are they OEM tail light guards? I’m looking for a set and trying to find the original part number.

Yes they are the factory covers. Not sure of the part number
