That crank handle switch is awesome. A rocker would look wrong. Nice work.

Towed the Zombie Trailer full of gear and swag to Marble Brewery to support the Albuquerque Mountain Rescue Councils annual fundraiser. It’s always good to support the local volunteer SAR teams by drinking as many beers as possible.

Mocking up the dual solar panels that’ll be mounted on the Old Gurls roof rack. Gotta keep the beers cold.

Took the truck to a wedding of two close friends on Saturday, and had fun hanging out with my brother (visiting from TX), Dad, and my neighbor Gordon in the shop on Sunday. Worked on cleaning up and priming the rain gutter to finally get my top back together, painted, and on the truck as the temps start to drop here in MA.

Sometimes its the little things.

Found a new OEM fuel pump and filter in a box of parts that came with rig so they went on which fixed a non oem union leak. Replaced a rear brake lense and wired up the keyed ignition with some help from @Rice vs last weeks start button. Added horn to said start button. But best was cleaning the seatbelts... Gross... 40 yrs of gunk n grime. The belts were stiff and oily and you couldn't even read the labels beforehand.

JFZ80,

So what did you soak those safety belts in to get em' so clean?

Can you send a link to where you bought this gauge?
Gauges - Speedhut
You can customize any of the gauges they sell to your liking. They give you the option to upload your own logo. So I found a picture of the TEQ logo on google and cropped it and uploaded it to their website and set it up on the gauge how I liked.

Having a lot of fun installing all the cool/rare/early bits. Like the Hupp heater box and control, Vader light and Denso flasher unit, early rear view mirror, and correct small running boards.

Planning to put gas in it tomorrow, then start it up again. Something like 3 months since it has been running.
