The LED madness continues: Even though the OEM dome light on the door pillar is pretty effective ... THIS is a dome light. I'm adding a similar set up to the sleeping area of my 4runner but I think a dimmer will be mandatory
I've been on an interior lighting mods kick but sorta went the opposite direction and pulled out the HID/LED/Whatever headlights in favor of the some OEM sealed beams. I'm sorry, but people flashing their lights at you on a two lane road because they think you have your brights on is not a good thing, no matter how many 5 star amazon reviews proclaim so. I'd rather see a bit worse than be a danger.
On that note, anybody want to buy some lights?

John, what lights are you running in your interior? I have been planning to run led strip lights in my 40 for a few years. Looks great .
@RAGINGMATT send some of that to us please
I've used a number of the LED strings off Amazon and I like these best. They're cheap but have the stickiest backing and come with connectors. 16ft is not quite enough to wrap completely around the top, I went door to door around the back because I have a separate set up front
Looked at the Amazon listing you provided. It says a power adapter is required but since the LED's are 12 volt I would think the adapter isn't needed. Stupid question I know, just wanted to be sure.
Had the hoses to and from the oil filter canister rebuilt. No more frayed and cracking hoses.

I took my hoses down to the local hydraulic shop, they crimped new hose on to the original fittings. Only the hose part and crimp sleeves are new, the fittings are still original. I told them that they were used with motor oil and the pressure was less than 100 psi (safety margin), they selected a Gates 300 psi bulk hose and fixed them up. Wasn’t expensive, less than $35 for the pair.Wise decision. I am curious what type and size hose fitting you used. Guessing it must be BSPT? I need to address my hose that sprung a leak while I was driving.
