No addiction here... I've only got one. I can't help that it has been such a good reliable truck these last 26 years. It's now on its 3rd motor... its 2nd $300 SBC. It now only has 72k on the motor.... 225k miles on the firewall and doors

It's just not logical to sell it and spend $40k on a truck that'll only depreciate, cost a fortune to repair, and break down. In 26 years I've chosen not to drive it home twice. Both times I could have... and I've never towed it... and only had to change a flat tire once 25 years ago because it was old, cracked, and leaked.

Finished painting the hardtop sides. Finally reassembling the 40. I told my wife it is like trying to put Humpty Dumpty back together again. I think it is looking good. Love the black bezel with the dune beige.

Added a stereo ‘system’.

For its cost and what it is, I’m happy.

Fills the truck with sound, overcomes road noise and connects to any phone app (iheart radio, pandora, my phone music,etc).

Low profile and has a tacky coating on the bottom so it doesn’t slide.

Ok, so I'm only cleaning the barn to move trucks around. This is what my chickens did with my 40. I currently use a marine battery box on the right rear fender.

So here's the 40 tech- no more 6.2 diesel. With the open engine bay I will patch up the. Crappy firewall notches I made long ago to stuff a SBC as far back as possible. Then I hope to find an LS engine to fab up mounts and drivetrain.

I corrected a minor oversight from assembly. Between my poor eyesight and bad memory I couldn't operate the heater dampener correctly!

There. That's better!!
