@peteinjp. That might be my favorite color, whats the name of it and is it a oem?

Toyota 653. Very common color. But it's a hard one to match because it looks very different in different types of light.

Pulled all belts-replaced

Replaced all vacuum lines
CLEANED it...

In the past week pulled fiberglass cap, cleaned out the old headliner, and replaced it with outdoor carpet. I think it turned out pretty well.

Spent a bit of cash and picked up a 12HT for my FJ45, 156,000km and is a great runner, now just need find all the other little bits I need and fine time to do the conversion.

Any good threads that are worth looking at? Mainly concerned about engine mounts.

@Taha32 You can check out my build thread as I have just installed a 12HT in my 78' 45. There 40/45 motor mounts for the 2H/12HT available and that is what I used. Feel free to contact me with questions. I'm glad to help if I can.

Installed 6 degree shims. Caster now at 0 degrees not a BMW but at least drivable

New wheels and tires!

well they were new for a few miles. Then I found this dry cracked sandy road that had tar like clay hiding just below the crust. Lockers saved my butt!

255/85r16 on 16x7 4" back space (0 offset) wheels.

So far so good!

Used the 72 to rescue the 74 #2 from the pasture my brother abandoned it in several years ago. The body was replaced with an earlier model by the PO and the wiring harness was removed. Now the hard work to get her back running begins...

Thanks, I just couldn't use the truck drag her out... but my clutch wasn't too happy about it. Almost had to give up and use the winch to jerk her out of the holes the tires were in.

And swapped tires so it will roll a little easier now.
