Agreed. I wouldn’t go through all that trouble just to weld in a section of ANOTHER 50 YEAR OLD FRAME that was made out of recycled steel to begin with.
Have you removed the swing arm that slides into the sleeve you’re drilling into? By the looks of it, you have already drilled through what you need too, except the hole looks to be bigger than needed Probably no real damage done at this point...
Ahhhh, I actually looked at the fuses and didn’t see anything amiss but I also know a fuse can be bad without “looking” bad. I’ll put in a new fuse and check. If that doesn’t do the trick I guess I’ll have to pull the cluster out. Thanks!
