Noted! So I guess the answer to my initial question was - Toyota used steel rivets.
I guess I didn’t think about the fact that those rivets won’t see the light of day for another 40 years or so, so I’d agree, the mixed materials/galvanic corosion is probably a moot point.

I started prepping for my first knuckle rebuild! I scraped off several pounds of caked on dirt/grease and sprayed all the bolts with some kroil.
Question for the braintrust: I'm in a two car garage so on one side I have plenty of room but on the other I want to make sure I have enough clearnace to the wall to pull the birf/axle. Anyone know roughly how long it is?
You should be fine if the passenger side has a couple of feet at a minimum for clearance. I did mine with just two feet from the outside of the tire to the wall, once the tire was pulled it was fairly easy process. The driver side would need just a bit more room to work with, but really not all that much more. I was in a 1.5 car garage. Good luck.I started prepping for my first knuckle rebuild! Rolled the bones out of the shop and into the sun for a few hours so I could do front end work on my son's '03 Chevy Z71.

My wife has a fern she keeps in the garage so it will not freeze.
I put it out in the sun every once in a while and it seams to help.
Have you noticed any new growth on the frame and engine?

no new growth....must not be watering it enough.....my wife said it looked like a tractor sitting out in the yard...
