It looks like the angle on your shackle is off quite a bit-does your suspension work all right?is n't it too harsh?

The trucks missing a whole bunch of metal...if the whole interior is stripped out it’s possible it’s just riding super high due to lack of weight. I’ll bet once he’s welded in some new quarters and puts a roll bar and hard top back on it that shackle angle will work itself out.

Installed my Toyota H4 headlight retrofit kit. The harness was quite long so I spent some time shortening that as well as getting new stainless screws for my headlight buckets. I still need to aim the headlights, but it was a very simple upgrade overall!

Any pics of the harness installed inside?

I received my kit earlier this week and I was particularly interested to see where/how you positioned/mounted the fuses.

I can get some pics tomorrow and post them up. I'm always pretty terrible at taking pics of anything while I'm actually working

EDIT: Here are the pics you asked for @tlaporte
Please excuse my ultra crude drawing and the dirtiness of my engine bay. Didn't know i'd be taking pictures in there lol. The relays are bolted to the passenger side fender and the Fuses are zip tied to the harness near the battery and ignitor

Getting the doors put together . realized I dont have the correct weatherstrip for my 64. I guess nobody makes it? Will have to modify mine to make it work . Apparently the top piece above the door is glued on the tub side as there's no provision for it on the door. Funny how you don't think about it until your staring at the problem.

I am just throwing stuff on at this point getting things lined up. Will stop by the hardware store tonight and pick up all the stainless fasteners needed to complete the doors. These should be mounted on the rig sometime this weekend. :)

Looking good and the color looks like it will match my 40.
To bad you are in Oregon. That is to far to drive for doors, even it they would be free.

Messed around with a couple of 60's last night, with some friends / neighbors. They've been super into old Mercedes diesel sedans, but since they bought that blue 60 from me, they've gone totally nuts over Land Cruisers. The red truck's a BJ-60, and they recently bought an 80. Sweet!
